21.01.2022 I’m a happy hiker right now! After a weekend walk in our gorgeous bush I came home with a few bites from something, maybe ticks, eewww. I wasn’t too concerned at first, but the itch became constant and unbearable. ... So after days of trying antiseptic cream, bandaids, scratching like a crazy person I finally tried lavender and tea tree oil an the itch stopped straight away. I cannot express how grateful I am!! Next time you get an insect bite that drives you crazy, give it a go!
20.01.2022 Our house has been thrown into the chaos of renovations this week. So I haven’t had as much time (or space!) to get creative. Last night I finally got to sit down and relax with a project I’ve been looking forward to for a week. Here is my latest creation - an earthy beaded wrap bracelet, with gorgeous tiger eye beads as the focus. What do you think? Do you prefer the simplicity of a single strand bracelet? Or the abundance of a triple wrap?
18.01.2022 My essential oils seem to last forever! Did you know that there are 250 drops in every 15ml bottle? When you’re only using a few drops a day, that little bottle can last months, sometimes even years!... They do have an expiry though. After this time the smell can start to change and the benefits may diminish. So I thought I’d take a moment to go through my collection and remove any that may have passed. I found this to be a great way to see which oils I don’t gravitate towards or need to use very often. The expiry date is printed on the bottom of the bottle along with the batch number.

08.01.2022 This is my latest sandstone inspired Tree of Life Mala necklace. I love how the colours compliment each other it reminds me of summer! The authentic, natural gemstones are a mix of picture jasper beads, tiger eye beads, Dalmatian jasper beads, lava stones and beautiful Czech glass hibiscus beads. 04.01.2022 I love the convenience of the On Guard mist. Ready made, easy application, small enough to pop in your handbag. I much prefer this to some of the drying, stinky sanitisers I’ve occasionally had to use over the past 6 months.
