RIP Neil. _________________________________ Neil we shared a boundary for many years with only a few exchanges, but as the years went by, the frequency of our exchanges increased. Most apparent to me was your love for your family. Hearing your exchanges with your wife - yes dear, be in shortly dear, I’ve checked the water dear, I often re...flected if I would still be expressing such loving exchanges in later years with my own wife. You clearly would do anything for your family from washing their cars and advising you had checked the oil and water through to subsequently selling the said vehicles years later, all of which were serviced by your trusty mechanic, I’m sure you were on some referral scheme there mate . You were a thinker and would openly share topics in conversation, often diving into detail that today most people refrain from sharing. In talking with you, I never left wanting to know a little more. We would often spot you walking, identifiable by a cardigan, white runners, long socks and shorts or pants, more often than not all different colours, but it never worried you, nor should it. And if we couldn’t identify you by your clothes, your epic side burns would confirm the match as we got closer. _________________________________ The tragic news of Neils death was certainly a shock and I cannot begin to understand his family’s grief. I can only encourage them to hold onto the memories, don’t supress them as its these that enable an unimaginable future to be contemplated, navigated and later fulfilled.
