I have some mspeedwax wax back in stock will start working on back orders, i dont have long before lodgement and school run but what doesnt get out today will be out tomorrow, and back orders on existing race prep chains hopefully out by friday lodgement run. Mspeedwax may be in and out of stock a bit trying really hard to get as much in as is going out but thats proving a fun time! Also just in the silca hot melt. I will try to a more detailed post re what info... we hsve re silca vs msw, but the short of it is there are just so many benefits to immersive waxing with a top quality wax (aka not cheap shite from ebay or candles) and some ppl just love silca, so here it is. Shld be on webstore by tomorrow or Friday (running late) if wish to purchase before on webstore just email me on [email protected]. Yes its a lot more expensive at 79.95 a bag, its silca Still having trouble with chain stocks, have some gold and black, a big pile of back orders for other ybn's, they are coming sn but again will be a bit of a battle keeping up some stock buffer after back orders filled, if you want, get on the back order list!! www.zerofrictioncycling.com.au

18.01.2022 As best as i can tell i am the first and only place in aus to have in stock the absoluteBlack graphene lube. And i only have 4 bottles. And the importer currently has no more stock for a bit, so if you want it, i wouldn't dally. Refer to product info on website. * Note - initial prep is crucial so ensure follow instructions - or if in doubt purchase a pre prepped chain / send me chain for ultrasonic clean and ultrasonic application (email me to organise latter). Refer to product info on website for further details to save me typing another too long post! https://zerofrictioncycling.com.au//absoluteblack-graphen/

18.01.2022 Low Friction News 24 - Wet lubricants vs Immersive waxing / chain coating lubricants + Project Updates + Grax Gravel Lube + You Tube Well, the last project week absolutely zoomed by I lost a day and half to things that came up on the home front (new car Tesla woohoo!) and so despite ploughing on hard I only managed to get though half my planned review work. You will now find up on lubricant test page the NON detail review for absoluteBlack Graphene Lubricant due to tha...Continue reading

17.01.2022 Latest News 6 Ok its been a bit since posted anything to, anything but that’s because it has just been shoulder to the plow, its been a few months of pretty exciting times on the retail front and back orders up the wahzoo as I still struggle to get stock in at the rate that its going out. What this keeps re-enforcing is that the message re the big, huge, low hanging fruit of watts savings and therefore drive train wear savings is getting out there, hopefully little zfc has...Continue reading

16.01.2022 Latest News! Two new additions to ZFC’s very select line up have been added this week. First is absoluteBlack Graphene lube. Yes it is the most expensive bottle of lubricant ever, however its extreme longevity per application and low parts wear rate will make it very competitive vs many bottles of drip lubes on LBS shelves, but with some well proven low friction, low wear and single application longevity advantages. If you can handle the initial investment, for some riders ...Continue reading

14.01.2022 RED ALERT ON STOCK! It is running out the door at approximately the top speed of cheetah. On EPO. And a few blood bags. Thanks everyone as always for the awesome support, customer loyalty and referrals, ZFC is now in the very fun state of i'm really having fun getting stock in as fast as its going out!!! Getting suppliers to just keep sending boxes when they can, i'm prepping chains like a madman, and still half my stock line buffers have now run to zero, the other half are... not far behind it. Pls forgive website - inventory levels may be lying to you - local sales through the workshop do not link to the webstore unfortunately, and with the rate of stock out and stock in, keep up with manually updating levels has been impossible. Line items that may have an extensive delay i am marking out of stock (supplier is also out), most other line items there should only be a short delay if im out until the next case comes in, and i start filling back orders in chrono order received. Im sending everything priority so delivery times in most cases still match other online stores sending standard :) But - in short - if you need something soon as racing is resuming - don't dilly dally. Lead times on race chains are getting longer as i'm falling a little behind orders vs time to prep, and yep - much fun overall as stock comes in, back orders filled, stock has evaporated, next box comes in etc. It's a hoot. Im working with main suppliers to see if rate of stock to me can be ramped up even more. There will also be much more to come on the testing front - there is still much to clarify re a particular situation - this will be done in time, and the right way :), and more light on the increasingly conflicting testing landscape will be shone. In short, some claims one can believe well, some claims need a bit more verification - ZFC is working on it, but its complex - need to tread around some eggshells, and need more transparency from some parties - but as always - working hard behind the scenes for better clarity, and heaven forbid - an agreed testing protocol for outright efficiency losses. In the interim - the goal keeper / fact checker if you are confused re conflicting test results is ZFC detail tests - there is just no hiding from wear rates - there is no escaping the laws of physics on that one. Keep having fun and staying safe on the roads / trails / ergo's, and remember OWN ALL YOUR WATTS, and by doing so, save yourself a shipload of drive train maintenance costs and wear. Apologies in advance for any mini delays re orders, they should be mini in the vast majority of cases! www.zerofrictioncycling.com.au

04.01.2022 ZFC Latest News #13 - Closed Until 28th December!! ZFC is still moving!!! Thanks all yes i must say i knew the move wld be big, but its been enormous, have spent last 2 days dealing with contractors vs setting up new workshop, i very behind, and very tired. I need to get set up done, testing back up and running, catch up on orders, and then i think after 3.5years without a holiday, its time to start taking a week off each school hols to play with my little guy. Ive missed pl...aying with him a lot this last week which has been crazy amount of work and no play! Sadly with many hiccups happening at this moment (for example limited running water) I am falling way behind in my ability to get the new wizbang workshop up and running. I have many meetings with contractors all this week and as such I am going to have to stay closed until the 28th of December. What does this mean, well all orders placed after the 17th of December will likely not get processed until the 29th of December. If you have texted me already I will try my best but more than likely I will be unable to begin processing orders until the 29th. I haven’t even been able to open my computer since the 17th!! In fact, I am not 100% sure I know where my computer is at the moment. haha Thanks for your patience during ZFC big move to new custom workshop time + Mr Low Friction possibly spending a few days under a general anaesthetic for a rest! Head to the Latest News section for full details. https://zerofrictioncycling.com.au/latest-zero-friction-cy/ Happy Holidays!!

03.01.2022 Okay, it’s time to talk about lubricant testing generally! Now is definitely the time to start a broader discussion on lubricant testing as the landscape has become somewhat conflicting and confusing. Lubricant testing got off to a great start thanks to the pioneering work of Jason Smith with Friction Facts. He was the first to put manufacturer claims re lubricant performance to the test, and drive train frictions losses on the map as something riders should be taking a lo...Continue reading

03.01.2022 Latest News! Right out of wax again!! Things were already really touch and go, and then Dave Rome released this most awesome article - https://cyclingtips.com//how-to-wax-a-chain-an-endless-faq/ and my shelves were bare of mspeedwax by the end of the day and already back orders piling up. If you want to make sure the next case landed gets to your back order, get a good spot in the line! But even more excitingly, whilst for those on back order have a mini wait, Mspeedwax h...Continue reading

02.01.2022 Golden Age of Lubricants Next Level!! Where to begin. So much has been happening in the fun world of low friction goodness, its all getting a bit much so much so in fact one of the most common enquiries im getting now is customers stuck as cant decide what top lubricant choice they should go with!! And that’s a pretty valid pondering so much so I really need to get some kind of lubricant choice matrix drawn up, so that’s in the wings when I can get a chance. Whilst I ...Continue reading

01.01.2022 Okay I guess some of you wonder what has happened in the last few days, and I would very much like to try to set the record straight. I had a small misunderstanding with absoluteBLACK over the review I issued few days ago. I commented on their very early prototypes of the lube that I did test in 2018 (which were private, paid tests) without checking to confirm if it's the same as new launched version. The test of the prototype lubricant was actually exceptional across the ...testing blocks, being the first and only drip lube tested to date that has completed the entire test protocol through to the end of the extreme contamination block at the standard re-lubrication intervals (one other drip lube has made it to the end of full test protocol, but this lubricant was applied at double the standard rate due to its short lifespan). However, I missed from reading the absoluteBLack launch that it turns out that absoluteBLACK claims to have significantly improved on the prototype formula that I tested, as such the comments I made based on the prototype data are likely to not be a fair representation of the production version of the lubricant they have now released. I will obviously be keen to obtain and re-test the production version as soon as possible. Also, from the launch we can see they have used some additional new way of testing friction without using the chain to correlate with Wheel Energy data which I am now exploring with them to learn more. So to avoid any confusion I have removed my initial review and will issue one once the new lube is tested. Some new ideas were born out of our discussion so stay tuned!
