25.01.2022 Sydney creative reuse and repair institution THE BOWER Reuse & Repair Centre is facing eviction from their 20 year home in Marrickville. Please have a read of what they're currently facing, and sign the petition if you're able. This isn't just about saving The Bower, this is about fighting for the community reuse and repair sector in Australia, which is still too small, underfunded and oftentimes lacks enough support to continue operating under difficult circumstances.

Dr Nick Florin is Research Director at the Institute for Sustainable Futures (ISF), an independent research centre based at the University of Technology Sydney. Recently he has advised the NSW Government on Circular Economy and was commissioned by the Battery Stewardship Council to evaluate opportunities to rapidly sc...ale-up waste battery collection.
