05.01.2022 It does work!! When working with clients who are stressed and anxious it often coming up that they should be doing something creative... I had a look and it's an actual thing! When we are creative we use our creative brain which develops our problem-solving abilities, it lowers the frequency of our brain-waves and allows us to be absorbed and forget about our stress for a while! ... It's so important to make time for things other than the "to-do-list" and who knows you might find you're more efficient because you are more relaxed! 04.01.2022 Ever wondered what else you can be doing to support your healing journey? I have been working with so many clients who are stressed-out, low in energy and basically worn out. I used to be like this and looking back, I don't know how I survived! So.. here are some things I have incorporated into my lifestyle that have made a huge difference to me ... - Earthing - put your feet on the ground every day and you'll be amazed how your body calms down - Energy Work - this can be Kinesiology or some form of energy work that works for you. Regular energy work keeps you grounded and stops the mind chattering - Exercise - I know what you're thinking... this old chestnut! The truth is, exercise is so beneficial but it's important to find something you enjoy so you will do it regularly. I love yoga and hiking

01.01.2022 Having trouble sleeping? Tried everything? I'm usually a good sleeper but every-now-and-then it's 2am and i'm staring at the ceiling wondering when i'll get some shut eye! Here's what I do: - Relax my whole body - starting at the top of my head I work my way down and relax every muscle as I go, paying particular attention to my eye muscles. I'm usually asleep before I get to my arms ... - Write stuff down - whatever is going through my head I get out a pen and paper and write it all down. That way I don't have to think about it until morning when I have time to deal with it - Focus on right now - sleep usually eludes me when I'm worried about something in the future. If I relax, focus on the room around me and what my senses are telling me, I am pulled back into the present and can calm down enough to sleep Let me know if you have any super-sleep tips xx
