19.01.2022 3 days until Zia debut their awesome new choreography with brand spanking new costumes at the Newcastle Bellydance Festival alongside many awesome dancers from around Australia and the most awesome DEB RUBIN! Better get your tix from the information desk... they ain't available at the door...!

18.01.2022 Less than 24 hours until the event! SO let us just paint the picture... An intimate evening - Those who arrive early (7pm) will be rewarded with the best seating arrangement! Feel free to dress up like you've just discovered Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922, and bring a cushion if you wish to be located close to the stage. The beautiful sea temptress Belinda will have a table of aromatic delights, selling her Mermaid Moon wares, and selected headpieces by Antonia Gore. You can samp...le the Terrace's range of $10 cocktails and spiked teas. The show kicks off at 7.30 pm with an intro by our ever charismatic MC, and our dancers will treat you to variety of moody pieces including a sword dance, a trip to 1920's Paris, a tribal style Saidi, a retro flapper ensemble, a futuristic duet, a vibrant Rajasthani Gypsy soloist and not one, but 2 dances by our amazingly talented guest Lakita! Later in the program you will have an opportunity to get up and dance yourselves with the sounds of the Earthen Rhythms drummers, and you can get all this for a mere $20 entry - but be warned, there are only a couple dozen tickets remaining!
