16.01.2022 Remember that time a few years ago when @thankyouaus x Zilvi partnered. When you purchased a box of Thank You Nappies, you received a custom Zilvi Name Plaque. Definitely one of the highs in the last 7 years since starting this brand. The opportunity to work with a company I admire.... Tonight Thank You have announced they are saying goodbye to their nappies (for now). Their company continues to work, with purpose. A brand that brings consumers products to end extreme poverty. 15.01.2022 I never imagined the life I have now. I chased a career in wedding planning and styling for a decade and thought that would be it for me. I’d have children and send them to the local school from our house in suburban Brisbane. We would live in our forever home. And that would be our life. ... And I was okay with that. But at the same time I had a dream. I yearned for a job where I could have an art studio at home. I would dream of a large property in the mountains. I wanted animals and to grow my own food. I longed to homeschool my child. For so long I believed it wasn’t within reach. A dream I’d think about for the years ahead. Or so I thought. Because here we are. Last week we celebrated 5 years since leaving the city for a county town with a population of 764. I’m writing this from my art studio, on our 60 acre mountain property where I spend my days creating. We keep bees, pigs, chickens. We continue to work on a self sufficient life. And we’ve celebrated one year of homeschooling Felix. This is our now. I urge you to dream. Work hard. Manifest. Because I am. For our next chapter. Pic: Felix and his bees #zilvi
