We work on mother moves in our classes to help keep those muscles strong that will need to lift and carry for the coming years. 13.01.2022 Do you remember the days when you just needed to move your body in what ever way came naturally? Yes some of us still move our bodies, we are movers but our movements are often now dictated by a workout or an specific activity which must be done in a certain way. Sometime I am with Xavier (who is three) he will be tapping his leg or wiggling like a worm and I ask "Do you need the toilet or something, why are you wiggling so much?"... His reply "No mum, I just need to move my body mum." This evening while waiting for the kettle to boil for my sleepy tea, I started moving and found myself feeling joy with the movement, It reminded me of when I was young, not as young as Xavier but in my teens/early 20's I used to sometime move like this (and not on the dance floor, however I can see how its similar.) So I ask: Did you ever move like this, if you did when did it stop, has it stopped? Is it something about adulting that makes us stop? Do I just need to take up creative dance? So this may not seem like an utterly normal post from a fitness page, but I am challenging you to give it a go, move your body free of your internal critic. If you are anything like me you will find yourself finding positions and places that need a good stretch, it feels so good for the mind as well! ps: everyone else in my house was already in bed : )



10.01.2022 I am back at it, studying again, Just like Covid 19 and lockdown 2.0 here in Melbourne, I am experiencing a precision nutrition - nutrition for sport and exercise study 2.0 which I began a few weeks ago. This time I'll finish!

08.01.2022 A quick update on our all Female online class timetable: Three session a week - all classes include initial mobilisation warm up, full body workout and stretch cool down. Sessions are 1 hour long, small group sessions.... Tuesday 7am Thursday 3:30pm **** NEW TIME*** Saturday 9am In our classes you are not lost among the masses of people on screen, I am here when you need me just a phone call away. 08.01.2022 one of my favourite program Ninja Warrior is back on TV Channel 9! Some of you may remember Belle from the Zing Fit Mums sessions. Well she made it to ninja warrior 2020, unfortunately her run isn't aired this season, (its a bit of a luck of the draw and which stories/people they want to cover) she made it to the 4th obstacle where many people also fell off. ... Such a great performance from this mum of two. 05.01.2022 For the last few weeks I have been studying Exercise and Nutrition, I started studying this a few years ago, life got in the way I had read most of the book but hadn't finally taken the exam. It really interested me back then and is really interesting me now. Its helping me address some of my own diet deficiencies and also helping think about some issues my clients have. looking forward to getting the final exam finished in the coming weeks and then working out how I can help others with what I have learned.
