08.01.2022 Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... I some have good news, some bad news and some great news for you all... The good news is: the Saturday morning Zumba classes will continue Kidman Park Primary School in 2018!!! :)... The bad news is: I won't be running them anymore and will actually be giving up teaching Zumba altogether, with my last class being Saturday 16th Dec 2017. :( The great news is: The amazing Wendi Overall will be taking over the reins and will be kicking off the classes under her own banner next year! :) My decision to stop teaching Zumba has not come easily... I have been considering my future in Zumba as of June 2016, but I've now come to a point where it feels the timing is right to hang up the Zumba shoes. I already work a lot on weekends with my full time job, so teaching every Saturday morning means I have to work e.v.e.r.y Saturday night at my full time job. Going forward from here it will free up some valuable family/friends time, either in the morning or at night, however the roster will now fall. Wendi is an amazing instructor, with loads of energy, noise and fun routines... Her and I are very alike in our teaching styles and I know that anyone that was a participant of mine will enjoy her classes just as much as they enjoyed mine. If you have an outstanding Class Pass with me, please contact me via text or Private Message here on FB and I will discuss how things will work out for you with Wendi. Wendi is currently negotiating a start date for January, so once she knows both her and I will be broadcasting it loud and proud so that you can all jump back into your weekly classes and shake dem bootays. As I said above - my last class will be at 10.00am, Saturday 16th December at the Kidman Park Primary School, Dean Ave just off Valetta Rd), Kidman Park. We'll rock out some original tracks, some new ones and some we've been doing forever... plus we'll hang around afterwards for a drink (byo alcohol and plate of food). I want to thank each and every person that has either come to classes each week, some weeks or even only once... you have all supported me in some way, have all sweated, smiled and had fun in my classes, and I love you for that. In particular, I need to give a huge heart felt thanks to: - My mentor, friend and inspiration: Maria Teresa Stone. - My friends that became fellow instructors, helping me with classes and life in general: Belinda, Nicole, Olga, Courtney and Tegen. Thank you, thank you, thank you. <3 xox It will be both a sad and happy day on Saturday 16th... I do hope to see as many people as possible there so I can say hello, good bye and than you in person. Z-hugs and <3, always, Kevin Malpas. :)
