17.01.2022 Well done boys, Charlie faught a good fight displayed so much skill and effort he came out with the silver we are so proud of you. Zephy faught a good fight he came out as the QLD champion in his division taking out the gold. But sadly zephy will not go to Australian champs as he is Nz born lived here for 14 years, it crazy how in footy players from fiji can rep the Australian team. We hope it will someday change in boxing. We are super proud of you zephy.

16.01.2022 What a crazy year who knew lock downs were a thing. We jumped through hurdles, to fight, It sure was a year of learning about how to wash your hands and still get sweaty. We pushed through the down hill battle to find our sanity even though we may have lost jobs or our lives on hold. It was the survival of the fittest cause in the end we took up the challenge that made us a fighter to rumble in that ring. We had some victories we had some lessons learned and for some it was... a chance to step out in courage and put ourselves out there. Such proud and fun moments in all the crazyness of 2020. Thankyou for being a part of Zion and supporting us through. Hoping for a better and bigger 2021. Happy Christmas. See more

06.01.2022 A coach, what can i say its a hard journey somtimes the challenges you have to rise too. The hours of dedication in training and mentoring a boxer, your family time. From seeing them fit and well then them pulling out because they are not mentally ready, so you become the councillor a prep talk to get back on the journey and work through the fears. The rise and falls the victorys and we needs to work harder drawing board game plans. Since 2008 leus help coach friends and boxe...rs No pay but the love of the sport to want to help youth that struggled to fit in to society, or that emotionally confidence needed to rise to the unthinkable challenges to fight, or to teach kids in school a program to deal with stress and anger. To watch your students grow from little boxers to your elites or pros.
