18.01.2022 Zion Youth recently hosted 'Merge' a combined youth event for young people across Darwin. Marcus, Rosanna and the team did an incredible job leading this event. It was amazing to see our young people and those from surrounding youth groups, responding to the presence of God, worshipping and receiving prayer. It was an incredible night that had a huge impact and changed lives. Thank-you to Marcus, Rosanna and to all those who served and created space for our young people to encounter God in a personal way. We love that our young people are growing together not only in friendship, but in their desire to know God.

Jo is a gifted communicator who loves God and He has placed something on her heart that you will want to hear. We also have Renee and Rachelle sharing their testimony. Both individually and together, they have a powerful testimony of how God has worked in and through them. If you don't believe in God or are unsure about his existence, come and hear how he has impacte...d their lives, you won't regret it. Tomorrow will be a great day to invite a friend along to church. 12.01.2022 It was so good to be in church yesterday. We got to meet some amazing interstate visitors that were travelling though Darwin. If you are a regular attender, have recently joined us or are just visiting, you are so welcome. Pastor Troy spoke a timely message about trust, which is so relevant in this current season. God has a plan for us to live in victory and freedom, but so often we find ourselves stuck in Egypt. One of the biggest hurdles that keeps us in Egypt and from ent...ering the promised land is trust. God’s formula: Trust him and put him first and He will look after the rest. Let's keep it simple!

11.01.2022 Lots of things happening in the life of the church this week. We hope you find something you can connect with. Sunday marked our final instalment of Egypt in my Heart. What an impactful series this has been. Ps Troy spoke about the battles we fight, those against our flesh, the world and the enemy. He encouraged us to know that we can win, not to fight our battles alone, to obey at all costs, that God is with us and he didn’t design us to loose. 08.01.2022 We had an incredible time at the ACC state conference. Amazing worship, inspiring messages and hearing about all the wonderful things happening across Qld and the NT. It is so good to know that we are part of something bigger. Our very own pastors were honoured as NT pastors of the year We just loved spending time with the teams from @desertlifechurch and @heritagechurch_nt and getting to know each other better. We’re so grateful for the relationships formed. ... Big thank-you to all those involved in organising an incredible few days and to @hillsongdarwin for hosting us this year.

07.01.2022 Hi Church, here is a simple link to throw your support behind protecting Religious Freedoms. I had the pleasure to be able to have a few discussions with some of you briefly surrounding this. I want to reaffirm that I would MUCH rather freedom of speech in the sphere of our beliefs (which also means freedom of speech for those who have differing beliefs) than suppressed and controlled speech. If we don't send a united message, someone else will.

07.01.2022 What a fantastic Sunday we had with Ps Ben Teefy bringing an amazing word on our series on 'Egypt in my Heart.' It took a week for the Israelites to get out of Egypt but it took 40 years to get Egypt out of their hearts. Therefore, such an important message from Proverbs 4:23... "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Our hearts are made up of: our mind - the thoughts we think our will - the choices we make our emotions - the feelings we cultivate or tolerate. Check out the incredible word on our facebook page. 06.01.2022 Everything we do at Zion Church stems from a foundation of prayer. Phil and Stef do an incredible job leading our prayer team and ensuring that all we do and the people that call Zion home, are covered by prayer. They, along with their team, pray before every Sunday service, they are available to pray with people during and after the service. They pray for the needs of our people at House of Prayer and they pray for our city on a regular basis, alongside praying for us and the church during their personal devotions. We hope you are encouraged to know, that even when you might not even realise it, there are people thinking of you and praying for you as you go about your week. If you have anything specific you would like prayer for, please let us know or message Phil and Stef.

05.01.2022 We're so excited to have Ben sharing the word this Sunday. Before his formal ministry roles Ben worked in training and business management for a number of years as well as being an Adolescentologist, supporting students and educators across the country. He also worked extensively with recovering addicts and people journeying out of life controlling problems in Brisbane’s most notorious red light district. Ben currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Desert Life Church; in Alic...e Springs - the Red Centre of Australia. He shares life and ministry with Danielle, his wife of 21 yrs, and their three daughters; India (17), Molly (15) and Lilly (13). Ben came to faith after 14 yrs of battling depression, addictions and a dysfunctional life; the Gospel changed everything. He is a passionate Bible teacher and an avid mission advocate who also serves on an International Mission Board as well as the QLD and NT State executive of the Australian Christian Churches. Ben has the honour to serve in preaching, teaching, training and mission in many parts of Australia and the world while based in Australia’s iconic outback. We can't wait to hear what he has to share. We hope you can join us.
