15.01.2022 Night time lurks in Perth CBD.

10.01.2022 It was a rather moody day today in the city. Walking around the streets, I came across this interesting and really cool sculpture on Barrack Street outside the David Malcolm Justice Centre. Here pictured is what I took - to mix it up a bit, I changed my perspective and looked up by sneaking in between the sculpture and used the interweaving stainless steel tubes to frame the state buildings. Fun fact: the stainless steel tubes that rise linearly act as a contemporary expres...sion of an ancient, symbolic tree on this site in 1829 to commemorate the foundation of Perth and the Swan River Colony. . The sculpture represents as a tree and acts as a source of historic and shared cultural identities. Cathedral Square City of Perth
