03.01.2022 Horse Health Declaration. 10 day temperature log. If you live in the following areas your temperature taking daily fun has started.... Ballina, Byron, Kempsey, Lismore, Nambucca, Richmond Valley, Tweed and Upper Hunter Shire Council areas. 3 day temperature log. All other ride entrants need to take their horse's temperature every day for the 3 days before the ride as part of the Horse Health Declaration. That starts Wednesday 14th. Below is a video that explains taking the horses temperature. You can get a digital thermometer from a chemist. Get a rapid read one if you can. Please practise this safely. Get your horse comfortable with this and make it easy for our volunteer TPR's at the ride. Have this paperwork ready to present as you drive in the entry gate. https://youtu.be/8sJhww3_hfo

02.01.2022 What a fabulous weekend at the Watagan Mountains Endurance Ride! It was so good to be back at a ride again and to see so many happy riders. Great number of entries (179) and a terrific completion rate. Well done to the hardworking Committee for putting on a terrific event for their first time at it. Next event here August 7th & 8th.
