25.01.2022 Once again, I had the pleasure of photographing a most talented young up-and-coming model by the name of Miah Hand. The young model chose the look and outfits for the photo-shoot. Bindi Moore, my make-up artist from [email protected] applied Miahs hair and make-up, which also happens to be Miahs mother. The theme was decided on a high fashion model portfolio shoot, modeling three different outfits. As this was Miahs first professional photo-shoot who had n...o prior modeling experience, I must admit, she followed posing instructions flawlessly. No doubt this young lady will one day be on the cover of a fashion magazine. I feel blessed given this first opportunity to photograph Miah and set her on her modeling carrier path. Hopefully some fashion magazine editor may recognize this young ladies talent and great looks that are second to non and offer her a modeling carrier. If you are that person reading this, I assure you, you will not be let down!!! I have a funny feeling that this will be my first of many shoots with the very talented Miah. I will keep you all posted on this. Your thoughts and likes would be very much appreciated in encouraging Miahs great talent and beautiful looks to one day represent Australia. A big Thank You to Bindi and Miah for choosing myself, (Zone 1 Photography) as their preferred photographer. It was an absolute pleasure working with Miah. Looking forward to more shoots with you Miah.

22.01.2022 WORKSHOPS! Learn Better Photography Techniques. This Months Workshop Only $75pp... Understanding Your Camera: What do all the settings mean and how do I use them. Photo Technique: Learn how to take better photographs and how to frame the scene using your own camera. This is a Hands On workshop, aimed at those that have a digital camera but would like to know how to take better photos by using available light and settings such as, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Full Manual Setting and Fill in Flash to brighten shadows. This is a perfect opportunity for travellers to really bring their travels to life, with fantastic photographs of their trip. You must have: A Digital SLR Camera with interchangeable lens, a flash, and a tripod for some slow/steady shutter speed techniques. Duration for each workshop is about 2 hours. So please, do bring a bottle of water to hydrate and a hat for shade. During the workshop, I will show you different techniques used to create an image that you will be proud to say" I took that photo". You will learn how to use the foreground, middle and background areas as an essential ingredient to bring the subject of your photography to the fore. You will leave this workshop, with a much better understanding of how and why you adjust your camera settings and achieve images you once only thought possible from a "Professional Photographer". You will leave with the confidence and knowledge to use your camera to its full potential. A MINIMUM OF 3 ATTENDEES TO A MAX OF 8 ATTENDEES AT EACH WORKSHOP. This will insure that you get the most out of your time with us, as I can spend the quality time to show you the "Art of Photography". You will not be "lost" in an over-crowded class setting. If you wish to further your knowledge in professional photography, Private Tuition is also available (depending on schedule). You will get my full and undivided attention. This would be suitable for those who wish to make photography more than just a hobby. There are more workshops available at various times.
