Further information will be provided when it comes to hand. Gary McLoughlin Zone Secretary Hi Everyone I just wanted to let you all know that today, NSW Office of Sport has a video meeting with State Sporting Organisations CEO’s, then I will have a video meeting with our joint CEOs at 1.30pm. From this we will draft a circular to be sent to all districts/regions/zones & clubs outlining what restrictions (& lockdown) rules apply to our sport and what our plans for events are and over the coming days, we also hope that the government will announce what their plans for recovery/relief packages will be for those businesses (clubs) affected by lockdowns. I understand all of you are wanting some answers to questions about next weekend zone events and upcoming pennant finals as well as face mask requirements whilst playing, amongst other questions already raised with me etc, and I ask for your patience, as we collate the myriad of information coming in and the results of the meeting with Office of Sport. 15.01.2022 Zone Championships Update. Please be advised that the Zone 7 - Singles and Fours Championships scheduled for this coming weekend 3 and 4 July, 2021 has been POSTPONED. A number of participants in both disciplines were unfortunately caught in the 'Lockdown' areas stipulated by the NSW Government as Coronavirus 'Hotspots'.... To be fair all players in both events, and a requirement of Bowls NSW the events must be postponed to another date. The Bega Bowling Club has been contacted and their greens are available for the following weekend Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 July, 2021. As a result the event has been rescheduled for those dates. THE SAME TIME AND PLACE - Bega Bowling Club with a start time of 9.00am. CARDS WILL BE CALLED AT 8.30AM. If the government extends the 'lockdown' period past 9 July, 2021, other arrangements will have to be made.
