24.01.2022 The draw for the Zone Championship Finals will be available next week. It will mostly comprise the Districts only as a number of Districts are still finalising their Championships. The Districts which have a bye according to the rotation are Southern Highlands and Riverina.

23.01.2022 NSW Health & NSW Office of Sport have released that the current restrictions in place for community sport will expire as from this Saturday 26th September 2020. Womens Bowls NSW & Bowls NSW would like to thank the clubs and members for their patience during this 6-week restriction phase. As from Saturday 26th September, both Associations advise that: All Association events at District / Region / Zone level can recommence.... Please follow the below link for more information.

22.01.2022 Copy of email sent to clubs with juniors in the Zone. Folks, As your club has registered junior bowlers I am attaching the entry form for the Junior Championships to be held at The Rock Bowling Club on the 20-22 January 2021. I have extended the closing date till next Monday @ 5pm due to lack of entries.... Could you please talk to all your juniors and their parents/guardians regarding this because if I do not receive a substantive number of extra entries these championships may have to be postponed. The entry form has previously been forwarded through the Zone District delegates and on the Zone Website and Facebook page. 21.01.2022 Wagga RSL Bowling Club wish to advise we have had to cancel our annual Classic Fours for the Long Weekend in October after the release of the NSW Community Sport Guidelines and the advise from Bowls NSW. We will definitely be back in 2021 and hope to see you all then.

19.01.2022 The Zone Triples due to be played this coming weekend and will be proceeding as planned. All Visitors and Spectators must wear a mask in accordance with the current restrictions for regional areas. It is NOT mandatory for players to wear a mask while playing but should be masked before and after playing.

11.01.2022 ** Edit ** Advice received from Bowls NSW 28 June that they will be sending a circular out after meeting with Office of Sport today. A number of enquiries have been received in relation to the Zone Triples next weekend. At this stage they are still on.... The Match Committee will be seeking advice from Bowls NSW tomorrow regarding the mask protocol for players in regional NSW. As soon as I have any news I will advise. 09.01.2022 Joint Advice from Women’s Bowls NSW and Bowls NSW Regarding Community Sport Guidelines NSW Health together with NSW Office of Sport have released updated guidelines for Community Sport to be put in place from Wednesday 19th August 2020. NSW Health have recommended to all NSW Sporting Organisations to suspend all activities that bring together participants from different areas and may include Local Government Areas (LGA).... As a result of this direction, Women’s Bowls NSW and Bowls NSW hereby advise that ALL State Championship events to be held at District/Regional/Zone level MUST be suspended for a period of 6 weeks commencing tomorrow, Wednesday 19th August. 06.01.2022 Back in 1986, NSW CHS introduced the first Bowls program - a Statewide Schools Triples event where every public High School could compete for a State title. Only hindsight can do this decision justice - the first State Final matched up two future Comm Games Gold Medallist’s (plus many more personal achievements).
