07.01.2022 This is pretty exciting (and important) stuff! Arguably the best golf course in the world has announced they are aiming for carbon neutrality by next year which will make them the first golf course on Earth to do so. Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore has already implemented a range of sustainable initiatives including installing waste digesters to create fertiliser for their two championship courses on-site, introducing lithium battery golf carts, and establishing water and energy saving efficiencies across the courses and clubhouse.

07.01.2022 More and more prestigious and private golf clubs around the world are addressing their archaic rules towards gender and inclusivity where historically, women have either not allowed to be members or are still only allowed to play on certain days. Voted the number one golf course in the world, the Pine Valley Golf Club is opening its membership to women. The bylaws are also being updated to "remove all gender-specific language" which is another win for inclusivity. Club president Jim Davis said of the decision, the future of golf must move toward inclusion." Here, here!
