14.01.2022 Creating instability to build and improve stability and strength! Zone Athlete, Jack, invests a lot in his strength training to see him perform at his best when he hits the track. As a Track Athlete, Jack knows the importance of building a stable, strong and powerful body. In today’s coaching session, Jack completed a series of strength and power drills whilst wearing the Phantom Training Mask. Not only did the addition of the training mask increase the challenge and intensi...ty of his workout efforts, it also gave him a completely different training benefit- building on his aerobic capacity and efficiency. His heart and lungs are required to work harder as Jack adjusts to the reduced oxygen intake. Through his ongoing investment in building strong, powerful foundations, Jack is confident to add load to his stability drills and take on the added challenge of doing this under greater stress- reduced oxygen intake.
