13.01.2022 Reaching out to our community to seek support for SEW Tanzania. SEW Tanzania is a social enterprise and registered Australian charity that partners with HIV+ women. Their focus is on recycled and sustainable fashion. We have embraced face masks in Melbourne and London; but for many in Tanzania, PPE is an impossible expense. The public health crisis is particularly acute for those with HIV and other pre-existing conditions. ... In response, SEW Tanzania is manufacturing and delivering protective masks to at-risk communities, alongside educational material. They are proud to have repurposed their sewing business to provide this critical service. If you would like to support the project and donate a mask for $5.00, follow this link: https://www.sewtanzania.com/product/facemask/ Your donation provides both a job to the producer and a gift to those in need of PPE. As a registered Australian charity, all donations are tax deductible for Australian residents. If you would like to learn more about what SEW is doing in response to COVID-19, do not hesitate to get in touch with them. On behalf of: Nicki Lees Vice-President, SEW Inc Charity ABN: 50403962056
