25.01.2022 Zoochs Flick It Quick Services located Wingfield 5013 I may need to invest in some rain jackets if we are still all wanting there lawns done in the rain haha b...ut if it reallys needs to be done for inspection or you just really want it done i will get it done and leave it the best looking condition I can. While its due for rain i do still do removalist jobs with my trailers and tarps but I also have a Ford transit 10ft x 6ft x 5.4 ft high for safe delivery out of the weather. All other services unaffected by the weather

23.01.2022 Mowing all day near semaphore and seen this guy run out the bush.. me and my worker are debating wether its a bearded dragon or frill neck. I believe is a bearded dragon as I had 2 as a kid.. reason im posting is are these native to Adelaide as its the first wild one Ive seen or is he a pet and if so I know his last wear about if anyone is worrying. :)

As most of my regulars may know ive been battling a reoccuring medical condition that is trying its hardest to keep me off my feet. I have tried my hardest to over come it while working twice as hard and even taking on other workers to be able continue working consistently, making sure my business and I are as reliable and proud as we can be. I have a couple great ...workers who pride themselves in there work but i know i have a few regualrs who only want me working for them. I am in hospital and needing surgery and like last time may be a coupe months before I am able to operate again. 14.01.2022 Tips to understand lawn care for your garden during Autumn and the Winter months. We believe you must remember to remove leaves and clippings from the turf. It is the opposite if its Summer. By raking these away ensures that the grass gets the ample amounts of sunlight and air it needs to thrive during the cooler months.... It is also best to trim trees back which are planted around your lawn areas. Pruning these trees to ensure that your lawn gets more sunlight. Mow higher and less frequently. The idea is to keep your grass strong and healthy. When the cooler months set in, you will notice that the grass grows slower. You may also notice it grows uneven. This is due to how each strand feeds off the limited sunlight. During this period, it is advisable to raise the mowing height to prevent damaging the grass which can result in scalping and browning. Continual scalping, weakens the grass and leaves it vulnerable to the onslaught of diseases and weeds. In mowing your lawn, do not cut the grass lower than 2.5 cm. And instead of mowing the grass every week, mow your lawn once every three or four weeks, depending on the type of grass you have on your property. We advise to mow your lawn when the length of the grasss blades exceeds 6 cm. However, leaving your lawn to knee height length, will look poorly when cut, due to the freshly cut grasss lack of sunlight. Soil aeration Preferance to use paths and driveways when walking around your property. Alot of foot traffic on lawns, combined with wet and cooler temperatures can lead to soil compaction, which in turn prevents the grasss roots from receiving the optimal amount of airation they need to grow and thrive. You can either perforate the soil manually using a hand rake or simply hire professionals to perform this task for you. Fertilise Although the growth of grass slows down during the winter season, it still needs a steady supply of nutrients. Have your lawns soil checked first to ascertain what nutrients it lacks and then purchase the appropriate fertiliser with the right combination of nutrients. Stop watering Unless the grass looks very dry, you do not have to water your lawn. If you must water your lawn, do it early in the morning. Over-watering the lawn during the winter can only leave the grass vulnerable to fungi.
