18.01.2022 It's at the end of the days like today that we realise how grateful we are to be part of such a wonderful community Today we saw the Christmas Spirit shine through and the amount of people who turned up to donate to Foodbank NT was heart warming. Purple bins upon purple bins were filled! The success of today wouldn't have been possible without the support from our great friends from RFDS Darwin Tourist Facility and Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia who spent the mor...ning showing families through their training simulator and giving away treats. Thank you also to the ladies from Darwin Line Dancing who gave up their morning to entertain us with their fantastic dancing. Thank you to Lia Finocchiaro MLA for providing 1st prize to the community raffle. A big thank you to Ali Burton and Mix 104.9 for partnering with us to sponsor this event. We always love having you in our store. Thank you to all the Foodbank Australia volunteers who cooked pancakes over the very hot BBQ all morning. And to the volunteers who worked on the front door and the kids colouring competition tables - thank you! A massive thank you to our amazing staff, a number of them who signed on at 5:30am this morning to ensure fresh food was available. And to the ones who have worked 6 days this week - we couldn't have done it without you Lastly we want to thank our loyal customers.
