25.01.2022 Update Suspicious vehicle Woodroffe Northern Territory Police continue to investigate reported sightings of a suspicious vehicle in Woodroffe. Between 2:25pm and 2:30pm on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 August 2020, a white Renault master van was reported following school children along Harrison Court in Woodroffe. Around 3:00pm on Friday 7 August, police received another report of a man parking a white van and approaching a child on foot at Sirius Park, Woodroffe. The child... ran to her school and reported the incident to police. The man is described as approximately 40-years-old with a black beard and was wearing a fluorescent orange work shirt. Police urge parent, carers and children to remember the four R’s: Recognise the danger Refuse any offer Run away Report it to the first person they feel safe with. Further police investigations established the driver of the vehicle may also be driving a Blue Hyundai iLoad van. Police urge anyone who sees either vehicle loitering around children to contact police immediately. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. 20.01.2022 This week, all classes are engaging in Science week Inquiry and investigations. On Friday, students will move around the school as scientists exploring a range of activities based on the topic "The Deep Blue" Tonight have a chat at the dinner table about the question "How deep is the sea?" We would love to hear some of your responses.

18.01.2022 School Survey The department’s annual School Survey collects the opinions of staff, students and their families about school performance, culture and services. It contains questions that aim to provide schools with key insights into student wellbeing, engagement, and learning experiences from the perspective of the school community. The survey results can be used to inform school improvement planning. The School Survey will be live from Monday 10 August to Friday 28 August 20...20. Today, Parents and Carers will be sent an email link to access the survey through Schoolzine and/either Class Dojo. 04.01.2022 We are having a book fair in the library next week!! Come along and have a look and buy a book for your child. There are plenty to choose from! We will be open from 7:45am to 8:15am each morning and 2:30pm to 3pm each afternoon for parents to view and purchase. Children will be asked to dress up as a book character on Friday 25th Sept to win a prize! Judging will be done at a parade in the undercover area at 10:45am on Friday. Our local member, Lia Fincchiaro, has kindly agreed to be our judge for the day. Parents are welcome to attend the parade.

02.01.2022 Student Voice Positive Choice Summit Our Student Commisioners today attended the SVPC Summit in Palmerston. They had the opportunity to develop their skills in Media Arts to help support SVPC initiatives within our school. The event concluded with students from each school presenting a collaborative fundraising donor cheque to the Starlight Children's Foundation.
