22.01.2022 I met a girl crazy for me, Met a boy cute as can be . The sun was shining, it was hella windy and no one streaked in the sea behind . It was such a delight to marry the gorgeous James and Ilya yesterday. I cannot tell you how much of a blast I had planning their personalised ceremony with them. Im a lil sad its all over to be honest. ... . The groom, James, handmade this beauty of an arbour. Later it was transferred inside the sailing club and guests were invited to write a note on it in lieu of a guestbook. James will make a piece of furniture from the beams, a lasting memory of their big day. 22.01.2022 Ring, ring yet?, I ain't gonna sweat 4 years ago today, the AGD gave me the thumbs up to become a Celebrant. Now officially I took some time out to do the mat leave thing but I still had weddings to do for friends and famalam. ... They both revealed to me individually that once they got engaged 4 years ago they procrastinated because neither of them knew what to do. . 12.01.2022 And I can't change, Even if I tried . A few years ago I met with a couple*. They had been together forever and there was no doubt that they would get married one day. There was just one thing stopping them, they were the only couple in their immediate friends circle who could legally be married here in Australia. . After several discussions with friends, they decided to marry. We started the prep, agreeing that I would say my usual line after reading the Monitom Whilst th...is may be the law here in Australia, {name} + {name} look forward to the day when all Australians.... ALL couples around the world can marry the one they love. . Then it happened. We moved forward. #happytears . The wedding day came, a backyard wedding with just immediate family and select friends. It was the first time I was due to say the new Monitom. The 3 of us put our hands in like the start of a playoff. It was one of THE BEST moments of my life and yes, there were more tears . 08.01.2022 No wise man has the power to reason away, What seems to be | I married James + Ilya back at the start of January, I honestly would do it all again tomorrow if they wanted to! | I love a good prank and these guys had a killer one for their best man!... . The groom had crafted a special box to hold the rings. The best man was given the box containing the rings and instructed not to untie the special ribbon closure until the celebrant {me} tells him to bring the rings forward. . When the time came, I called for the rings and out came the box. The BM opened the box and .. no rings! . The next few minutes were spent frantically searching for the rings. On a beachon a super windy day ha ha! Only me and the B+G knew the truth! .
