14.01.2022 On Saturday 28 September Team Krista has hosted their 6th Zumba Master Class event in Port Macquarie. The reason for this party was twofold: to celebrate Krista's 4th Zumba GOLD anniversary and to dance for a cause. The chosen charity was A4WH or Australians For Women's Health in Nepal. We have raised the not shabby amount of.... $1615, thanks to the efforts of many! Over 100 tickets were sold, and many donated funds and new undies towards this cause: ah-mazing!!! Starting b...y thanking all the 6 ZINs who volunteered to team teach with me a super-fun 90 minutes Master Class, coming from Coffs, Sawtell, SWR & Macksville. Not only that, they brought a few of their lovely Zumba addicts to share the fun! Then we were lucky to have Michelle from LOVE THAT CAKE who donated yummy cakes and sold them all to increase the tally. Louise from Dr Ray sold a bunch of Dr Ray's books, which increased the total as well. Then I have to give all my volunteers a big thumbs up (you know who you are; LOVE YOU ALL A BUNCH!!) and last but not least: all who donated and danced along on this incredibly fun day!!!!! Oh yes, then I need to give a shout out to my darling HUBBY who gave up his birthday to help me hosting this community event, to take photos and to give me the much needed moral support in the running up and on the day!!! We simply need to keep boosting the #ZumbaGOLD program folks, it just is THE Zumba specialty program which brings so much JOY to everyone & every body. 05.01.2022 Two weeks in after our 1st LIVE class back since forever and am looking at 2/4 fully booked Zumba timeslots with some added to a waiting list. It's been a crazy busy couple of weeks for me yet it feels great to be back dancing face to face with real peeps and at the same time... to offer ONLINE classes to give the option of having some Zumba fun SAFE at home, in your lounge. Exercise is imperial, apart from the physical benefits it offers a fantastic way to boost the s...oul.<3 <3 A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who continues to make the effort in keeping our classes COVID-19 SAFE.
