16.01.2022 Struggling with Hip Pain or Lower back pain? Give these 4 activations a try before your next Lower Body Session: A1 Banded Frog Pumps 15 reps... A2 Banded Hip Thrust 15 reps A2 Supine Hip Raise 35 Per Leg A4 Cable Hip Flexor Activation 10-12 Per Leg Perform 1-3 set of all of the back to back, make sure the first rep looks the same the last rep, the form shouldn’t break down & you should feel a nice little burn in the glutes. Enjoy!

04.01.2022 Check out this lower body session from last week! This was an accumulation phase before going into my intensification phase - all the reps were performed with a tempo. TEMPO ... Adding a tempo or extending the time under tension for a movement is beneficial as it will increase your muscular and neuromuscular systems. By adding a tempo into your training, it has shown to increase the stability of the joint capsule, decrease the risk of injuries and improve strength throughout the full range of the lift. Give this a go next time you train legs and let me know how you go!

03.01.2022 A few videos from lasts weeks weight training. The focus at the moment is to work on building as much structure and balance in my body as possible. I am doing quite a lot of uni lateral exercises and movement patterns I am quite weak in to minimise the risk of injury in the future and to fix a few little niggles I have. My training program consists of 3 days of weights currently + 3 X Muay Thai Training sessions and two BJJ sessions. ... Day 1- German Body Composition. This is a mixture of both Upper & Lower Body Day 2- Upper Body Day 3- Lower Body Excited to build up my strength and fix my weaknesses over the coming training phases! 01.01.2022 Last Saturday I teamed up with Marlow from Mountain Man Fitness to run Goodlife's first Injury Prevention and Movement Correction Workshop and it was a massive success! I have studied many courses in order to have comprehensive knowledge of movement correction and it was great to be able to share some of that information with a group of eager learners. Everyone got involved in some different stability testing, running through different movement patterns and learning new acti...vation drills. In my 4 years as a Fitness Professional I have treated a wide variety of clients and have had lots of success with rehabilitative training as well as injury prevention due to my interest and study in that area and would like to continue to share that information to enable everyone to be able to train more safely and efficiently. Keep your eyes peeled for some more info coming your way! Bonnie Richardson Michael Marlow #zurvasfc
