03.01.2022 This week, 8 November - 15 November 2020 marks NAIDOC week 2020. This year's theme is 'Always Was, Always Will Be'. The Law Society acknowledges the land on which we live and work is Aboriginal land, and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging. This NAIDOC week, in the spirit of the theme 'Always Was, Always Will Be', we encourage you to take some time to learn a bit more about the land on which we live and work, and the world's oldest continuing cultures. One of th...e ways you can do this is to attend a NAIDOC week event. The City of Perth is organising a number of events this week and throughout November. Learn about the lives and legacies of Noongar Elders at Moorditj Bridyas - Solid Bosses, take part in the NAIDOC library challenge, listen to some Aussie Yarns at City of Perth Library, attend a weaving workshop or enjoy some song and dance at Yagan Square. https://buff.ly/3kcliHX See more
