25.01.2022 Great article! https://todaysveterinarypractice.com/use-of-acupuncture-fo/

24.01.2022 Just to let everyone know that we are finally being connected to NBN today so our email addresses with Optus will become obsolete as we will go with a different provider. Please use my hotmail address instead: [email protected]

21.01.2022 Acupuncture should come with a warning: it causes pugs to melt... too cute Mr Samson

20.01.2022 So often I get asked how do animals react to having acupuncture, will they sit still etc. I do everything possible to make acupuncture as relaxing as possible for them. For cats it often helps to have their own bedding. In this case Twilight’s Mum was most worried that she would not sit still or tolerate needling. First she watched her brother have acupuncture. He is very calm and relaxed during acupuncture. When it was her turn we simply took the roof of her cat carrier off and she slept most of the time. Mum was amazed! They are both perfect patients.

18.01.2022 Another one of my incredibly gorgeous patients today. Very cool darling Chloe!!!!

18.01.2022 I haven’t posted any photos of my consulting room since I first moved in. It is a lot more homely now and it is such a superb space to work in. All the toys and best equipment at hand now! Including the latest: a Pulsed Electro-magnetic field therapy bed for pain relief and healing.

17.01.2022 As they say : All creatures great and small. The gorgeous Sophie having Laser Treatment today and looking so very cool!!

13.01.2022 Today’s acupuncture session with Ned, Captain Prickle Pug as Mum calls him. He is so sweet!!

12.01.2022 Fun fact: Acupuncture needles are sometimes described as a painless needle due to its small size and blunt tip! (Yue, Guyer, Johnson, Khoo & Hochschuler, 2011). https://www.sciencedirect.com//medicine/needle-acupuncture

12.01.2022 My beautiful patient Chloe the Cavalier is so very photogenic and such a lovely patient. She is showing everyone how she has Acupuncture and Laser treatment in the Covid world. It feels so good to be at work and to be able to make a difference for animals in pain. So lovely to hear for example how animals are able to get up more easily, be playful again and not sore the following day and being able to go for walks again. I am so fortunate to be able to work with beautiful patients such as Chloe and her wonderful owners. Business is slowly picking up again after Covid-Quiet times. I practice according to government regulations, including me wearing a mask during the consultations. Thank you to Chloe’s mum for the lovely photos.

10.01.2022 You know you have been doing Acupuncture for a long time, when the puppy that replaced the old dog you first treated when doing the acupuncture course, is now an old dog too, which needs acupuncture now also. And every day I hear just how few vets do acupuncture and just how far people have to travel to see me. Today’s furthest was 2 hours from Toowoomba but to see the change in that dog after just one treatment is amazing and it is that, which will keep me doing this for as long as I can! Love my job!!! And the photo is of some needles after I treated a canine athlete with great muscle tone and severe muscle spasms. We often see this in horses but not so much in dogs really!

09.01.2022 Christmas Hours: Last consulting day this Saturday 21st December, back on Saturday 4th January 2020. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my clients and patients. May the New year bring rain where it is desperately needed.

07.01.2022 Wishing all my clients and patients a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year. What a year 2020 has been, although we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to be living in Australia instead of just about anywhere else in the world. Let’s hope 2021 is kinder to many. I am on leave now until Monday 4th January. Today this gorgeous elderly gentleman loved his acupuncture session, he always falls asleep. People so often ask how will my cat react, well some sleep deeply like this beautiful boy. Best wishes to you all!!

04.01.2022 It was so lovely to treat the gorgeous Sophie today post cruciate ligament surgery. She looked so cool with her Laser glasses. Thankfully they come in four sizes.
