04.01.2022 On Saturday 2nd May 2020, Lorna Mellor AM, a founding member of JDRF, passed away after a long illness. Lorna was a longtime member of and contributor to ADS and ADEA. In 1989, Lornas achievements were recognised nationally when she was awarded an Order of Australia Medal. Through her volunteer work she has improved the lives of many children with diabetes and their families throughout the world. She has left behind many friends all over the world who will miss her. Our thoughts are with her family and many friends.
