23.01.2022 The New York Times wrote that the Bach is "illustrated abstractly on the screen with brilliant colors flowing and merging, lacy figures cometing through space, a sky-writing cipher tracing patterns and sprays of falling stars. It is intended, obviously, to create the necessary mood of reverie, of immaterial detachment necessary to the complete comprehension and enjoyment of the entire program." J.S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor opens AWO plays Fantasia. Book now at www.trybooking.com/BILDE

18.01.2022 Most bands and ensembles in Adelaide have stopped for a while and we as musicians, both professional and community, are relegated to home practice in this tough moment. Why not make the best of a bad situation and go get your instrument serviced, buy a new one, or simply get some advice to help guide your practice. We are lucky to have some of the best technicians - worldwide - in Adelaide to repair and maintain our instruments, and provide critical advice and support. Adela...ide Wind Orchestra are delighted to continue to be supported by Richard Craig Woodwind, Gustafson Custom Horns, and Joanne Bridgman- Woodwind Repair Specialist. They're on Level 1 in the Edments building off Gawler Place, metres north of Rundle Mall. We are so thankful for their support and we encourage you to go and visit them, take your instrument and support great South Australian small business.
