20.01.2022 Last year we had Cheri Peters from the US speak at ADRA Community Centre Tumut about her inspiring journey from drug addiction and trauma to healing and restoration. We also hosted an addiction recovery group afterward. The poem below is a powerful reminder of the utter brokenness and ultimate cost of the addiction that also lives in our communities. Reach out. Reach up. There is hope. Here’s to spreading health, hope and healing to our town and surrounds

04.01.2022 25 Food parcels delivered today throughout Tumut, Adelong and Batlow. Week 4 of 6 of our food parcel project for bushfire and/or Covid- affected people. Thanks to ADRA Australia for funding us, to Coles for fresh produce and bread donated through the Second Bite program, to Woolies for their helpful staff and to our awesome volunteer packers and drivers!
