23.01.2022 GLENMORE LOCH HAS BEEN RESTOCKED! It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of the annual fish restocking at Glenmore Loch on Friday. Luke Cheviot and Luke V...andenberg allowed me to do the honours of releasing 1,000 Australian Bass into the loch - what a wonderful, educational experience! These tiny fish are only 70 days old and are approximately 20mm long, but in a few years they will grow up to 65cm long! This restocking is part of the NSW Government initiative, the Freshwater Fish Stocking Plan that is committed to always having healthy fish in our waterways. If you enjoy fishing, make sure to head down to Glenmore Loch to see what you can catch and to enjoy a day out with family and friends Anglers interested in seeing stocking numbers can access an interactive map on the DPI website https://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au//recreational/resources/stocking

If you have 5 acres in Horsley Park you cant build a second dwelling or anywhere else in the circle below. From the 1st October if you want to build a house on your own land if it is within 13km radius (see circle below) from Badgerys Creek Airport, they will have to do an acoustic report and put in sound-proofing which would cost $5,000 $10,000. It will also apply to people wanting to do extensions or renovations. This will affect residents in Penrith, Blacktown and Fairfield and South Western Sydney. This is due to the SEPP that has been passed by the NSW Planning Dept and State Government. This is all because a 2nd runway at Badgerys Creek is planned for 2064.
