24.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone! If AIDKA members are having issues showing their licence at sign-in due to 'sketchy' internet reception, put your phone in 'airplane' mode. Providing you have opened your App whilst in service, the App has a memory that allows it still to operate and show your licence whilst the internet has been turned off. So, you have no excuse now! Have a fantastic weekend :)

This directly affects; Adelaide, Renmark, Blanchetown, Loxton, YPDKC and Lucindale who all have scheduled events for the next two weekends. Once restrictions are lifted, we will make announcements accordingly. (I suspect 2 weeks will be the minimum :( )... 15.01.2022 G’day all you Dirt Karter’s, Just thought we’d let you know how we’re going with stock of Burris Tyres, and address some concerns we’ve heard from our customers... that we’ve either run out of tyres, or not enough to get us through the rest of the season. I can assure you that this is not the case. As with other Australian companies, importing products has been a challenge and seen some delays which resulted having no stock of K21 Fronts for a week, but this aside we have the full range of Burris Tyres. Currently we are fully stocked with: K21-5 Fronts K21-8 Rears TX 11 & 22 8 Rears QRC 11, 22 & 33 9 Rears TX 11 & 22 5Fronts TX11.& 22-6 Fronts TX11-7x5 Rears TX 22 & 33 11.50 x 8.50 x6 More information on each tyre can be found on our website Moving forward we‘re currently working with Burris to get in early to prepare for the 2021 season to ensure we are fully stocked for what we hope will a big year ahead for our sport. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us or catch us trackside. Darren Bergin Burris Racing AIDKA Dirt Kart World https://edwardskartwheels.com.au/pages/burris-tyres

13.01.2022 AIDKA - RETURN TO RACING As you are all aware the Covid-19 restrictions are now beginning to be lifted across Australia. The AIDKA Executive have decided that we will need to assess racing state by state as their restrictions are lifted. AIDKA has prepared a document which is a staged plan for clubs to return to racing. This document will be going to each relevant state sports authorities for approval. Once approval is granted from each state authority, we will be sending this document to each club. You will need to abide by these rules whilst we are going through these Covid19 conditions and until the Government relaxes the rules, so we can all go back to ‘normal’ racing. The Executive would like to Thank you for your patience during these difficult times. We all want to return to racing ASAP. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

12.01.2022 AIDKA RETURN TO RACING Update as of 5th June 2020 NT are off and racing... WA Education days only with up to 45 Karts. Maximum 100 people including officials. (1 Kart = 1 Driver + 1 Crew) NO SPECTATORS. SA Education days only with up to 40 Karts. Maximum 80 people plus officials. (1 Kart = 1 Driver + 1 Crew) NO SPECTATORS. QLD - Still no track activity at this stage Every club must complete their required ‘Covid Safe Plan’ and submit to their local Government authority for approval. You must have this available at the club and send a copy, once approved, to AIDKA Secretary prior to any track activity. All Persons entering a kart premises must complete the required ‘Contact Tracing form’. Normal Race/Education day AIDKA rules must be adhered to. Canteens may be opened with restrictions. Certain areas of the premises may be restricted or closed. Please respect these restrictions. Pit area has restrictions that each individual site must be a minimum of 3 metres from any other site. It is your duty, as members and clubs, to practice social distancing (1.5 metres) and good hygiene as much as practical. All additional education days must be approved by AIDKA calendar committee. We highly recommend that all nominations are received prior to meeting to control numbers. Clubs with over-prescribed numbers of nominations can organise multiple sessions on the one day. (eg. Morning and afternoon sessions). The pit area must be cleared before second session participants can enter. Please allow a minimum of one hour between sessions. The same Officials/volunteers are allowed for both sessions. Clubs have been given detailed requirements and will advise all members and visitors of their clubs’ individual restrictions when required. Please respect these restrictions as most are probably not their choice.

11.01.2022 Re: Returning to racing We have been working tirelessly in investigating what each individual States requirements are, in being able to have some sort of karting activity on our tracks. Lucky for the 2 x NT clubs, they have been able to start their season due to different Government restrictions for the Territory. SA, WA and QLD have not been so lucky. We are dictated by the Emergency Management plans of each state and these haven’t been updated for some time. In SA we are h...oping for this to be updated very soon as more restrictions are being lifted from Monday 1st June. Whilst the Goal posts are continually being changed we feel that we are edging closer for some action to be finally happening on our tracks. Rest assured, we are keeping a close on each Official announcement from every State to see if it affects us in anyway. ‘Possible’ time frames for kart activity (education or racing)at present are dependent on future updates: NT: Now SA: Late June to Early July QLD: Early to Mid July WA: Early to Mid July These are not definite and very dependent on future State Government restrictions. Clubs in some states will need to complete a Covid Safe Plan before any activity occurs at their club. We will keep you informed with details and relevant links as we get closer to a start date, as these details and requirements are changing regularly. Thank you for your patience. It is much appreciated. AIDKA Executive

10.01.2022 AIDKA'S RETURN TO RACING WA and SA are set to join NT and re-commence racing as of 1st July 2020. We now have no restrictions on the number of nominations each club can have with the exception of QLD who will be hopefully back on track soon. The AIDKA Covid guidelines for each state (SA/WA) is available on AIDKA Website, AIDKA App and has been emailed to all clubs.
