25.01.2022 World Ovarian Cancer Day Our Ovarian Cancer fundraiser this year was meant to be held in a couple of weeks time - even though we have had to postpone the day due to the current Covid - 19 crisis, we are still taking donations and selling raffle tickets / wrist bands until a new date is announced! 24.01.2022 In accordance with the Department of Health, we would like to remind all of our clients that if you are feeling unwell, or have returned from overseas travel in the last 14 days, can you please call to reschedule your appointment. Whilst we aren’t panicked about the global situation at the moment, we do have immune compromised & elderly clients, along with pregnant staff members and tiny babies coming in to the salon each day - We have to remember that whilst the majority of... people may only experience mild symptoms, others may be affected worse. You will notice we have placed antibacterial hand sanitiser all throughout the salon for your use, in the hope that being proactive will help to stop the spread and keep the most vulnerable safe. As a business we are operating as usual, we have always had good hygiene policies in place and rescheduling requirements for those unwell, but we do hope that the extra measures we are going to at the moment, with your help and understanding, will help in keeping our clients and staff safe during this time The Alfredton Hair and Beauty Team x

23.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder, that as of today, it is now mandatory for us to be checking everyone’s ID’s for addresses when you enter the salon. Please understand that without a valid form of ID, you will not be able to attend your appointment. For children who do not have an ID, a parent or carer will need to provide us with theirs as proof of address. Please also remember the following points when attending an appointment - ... - license/ID required - temperature checked - hand sanitiser on arrival/departure - face masks to be worn - you must attend your appointment alone (Anyone without an appointment will unfortunately have to wait outside) - you must reschedule your appointment for the following reasons - - you have been to Melbourne or surrounds in the 14 days prior to your appointment - you are unwell / have cold or flu like syptoms - you, or anyone in your household is awaiting a Covid result - you have been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid 19 To save you having to show your license everytime you attend an appointment, we can record your address on our system the first time to save you having to do it each time you come in. (This will not be used for anything other than to have the record there and save the hassle of showing your ID each time). 22.01.2022 Congratulations to Anton on officially becoming a Senior Hairdresser today Anton has managed to smash out his apprenticeship 6 months earlier than his expected finish date - many of you probably didn’t even realise he was doing his apprenticeship with how booked out he always is and the quality of the work he produces! 19.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN FROM MAY 5TH We are excited to announce Alfredton Hair and Beauty will be re opening the hair side from Tuesday May 5th. Due to government restrictions in place we are only offering hair services at the moment, and will only have limited days / times available. ... To ensure the 4 square meter rules apply and adhering to our safe distancing we will be running strictly by appointment only, and we please ask that you don’t bring anyone extra to your appointment. There will be hand sanitiser throughout the salon - upon entry and scattered around and we please ask that you use these throughout your service. We will also be only taking card payments during this time! If you have been feeling unwell, or have been around anyone that is feeling unwell, we also ask that you reschedule your appointment. 09.01.2022 As per Government recommendation, all the team at Alfredton Hair and Beauty will be wearing face masks while doing your services. We see a lot of people come through the salon each week, and we are unable to social distance while doing your services - so we are kindly asking that all clients wear a mask while in the salon. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have disposable ones for purchase in the salon for $2. ... Please keep in mind, for those of you who have a colour service done - a disposable mask is required so colour doesn’t ruin a reusable one. It is strange times ahead, but if we all do our part now we can all help stop the spread and keep people safe. Thank you for understanding x

05.01.2022 Exciting News You would have seen this bright and bubbly superstar around the salon over the last 6 months - chances are she greeted you as you walked in with her gorgeous smile, made you an incredible coffee or washed your hair. Jasmine has been doing an amazing job helping us out after school and on weekends since Christmas and now, we’re excited to announce that today, we officially signed her up as our school based apprentice! ... It’s been such a pleasure having Jasmine working along side us all in the salon, and we are so excited to watch her grow into an amazing hairdresser (just like her mum, Bronwyn ) An official welcome to the Alfredton Hair & Beauty team Jaz!

Today is Ash’s 30th birthday, and we here at Alfredton Hair and Beauty think this is kind of a big deal. ... Unfortunately, we had to postpone our Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser this year back in March due to Covid - 19, and as the year goes on it’s becoming more unlikely we will be able to hold our annual fundraising day due to restrictions in place - So this year we are doing something a little bit different! To celebrate Ash turning the big 30 we are donating $3 from EVERY appointment and $3 from every product sold FOR THE NEXT 30 DAYS! Due to Covid - 19 restrictions we are only able to offer hair services at this time, so why not book in for your next cut or colour over the next 30 day’s and know that a small percentage of your service is going towards a great cause! We also have our raffle that will be drawn at the end of the 30 days if you would like to purchase tickets - along with a donation box and wristbands & ribbons available for purchase.
