19.01.2022 All Souls in action: Piano making music in its new home Pupils at Sturt Street Community School (SSCS) are making good use of a piano donated to the school by All Souls Anglican Church late last year. According to the Principal, Darrin Briggs: Students are playing the piano from the time that they arrive until departure time. Thank you for the gift of the piano. Baycity Removals and Storage kindly moved the instrument from the All Souls Rectory in St Peters to the school at no cost, as a service to the community. The video clip features an SSCS pupil, Lily, enjoying the piano during a break.

17.01.2022 We would have been singing this hymn today at All Souls' for Ascension Day so here is a brass band and organ version we did a few years ago at St David's Burnside.

17.01.2022 No not the leaks from North Terrace or Canberra but the water leaks from the guttering and flashing on the church spire. These photos are just of the scaffolding required to make access safe for James, the roofing expert, to measure what's needed. You don't get this sort of expertise for a "slab of beer".

16.01.2022 Today's sermon was most apt given the generosity of our community yesterday towards the Mary Magdalene collection. Ann said that it is our biggest collection in the 13 years that we have been doing it. 15.01.2022 During the big clean out of early 2020 I salvaged these old broken trophies from the upstairs tower room and have now cleaned and restored them. CEBS (Church of England Boys Society) House Sports awards from 1962-65 but of greater interest is the Diocesan Trophy of 1942 awarded to All Soul's. Some of these names are familiar to me. Guess these will go back into storage but at least the dust has gone.

12.01.2022 On Pentecost Sunday, a neighbour from Spicer Uniting, Kate, (right) came by to share greetings and helium balloons with all Souls' Drive-through Church. Kate is the the Pastoral Care Worker at East Adelaide School. Church Organist Brenton also came to play the organ again, so it was a great joy to hear all the Pentecost hymns. Pictured here at the Drive-through table are Elizabeth and Andrew.
