25.01.2022 Weather is looking great for round 7 of the Shock Absorber Therapy championship tonight at Archerfield Big field of cars with plenty of stars!

25.01.2022 Steve Potts took out the win in round 2 of the Shock Absorber Therapy Track Championship last night at Archerfield Speedway. Matt Hardy came home in 2nd place with Steve Price storming home from last position on the starting grid to grab 3rd on the line just pipping Scott Hitchcock who was the first 253 home in 4th. Rounding out the top 5 was Michael Denning, who also took out his first ever heat win earlier in the night. Congratulations to all competitors, a great nights racing by AMCA Nationals

24.01.2022 The 2020-2021 AMCA Nationals Rules/specifications Book and Racing Rules have now been released and uploaded to the Amcanationals.com.au website. Go to the downl...oads page and you will find the link. Click on the link to download. We have spent many hours completely re-formatting the rule book to a more user friendly and readable format. Hopefully we have created a document that is a little easier for everyone to navigate through. All the updates for rear suspension and any other changes are all included. We will have some mock up photos available shortly for the rear end suspension mono leaf option. We were holding out waiting for those to put in the rule book, but it has taken a little longer than we thought so we have released the rulebook first and we will have mock up photos as soon as they are available for those that require them.

21.01.2022 Daylight Machinery Examinations First of all we just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your patience whilst we worked through the scenarios for our daylights going forward. We have been thinking of moving to a self scrutineering model for quite some time and it in light of Covid 19 this year it seemed a perfect time to trial this in Queensland for the coming season.... To Daylight Machinery of your car you have 2 x options: Option -1 Self Examine your own car to the rule book and fill out the required paperwork and submit to AMCA Officials. Option 2 - Make a booking for our Scrutineer to examine your car at a cost of $70.00 per car. Travel time maybe extra if you wish our Scrutineer to come to you. If you want to participate in option 1 and you are a bit unsure and lack a bit of confidence why not grab one of your comrades you race with and do it together etc. How do you go about Option -1? Go to amcanationals.com.au and go to the downloads page. Download and print out the current rule book Download and print out the Daylight Machinery Self Assessment Forms. Follow the instructions Work your way through the daylight sheet in conjunction with the rule book, checking off each item as you make sure your car complies with the relevant rule etc. Once completed sign the declaration form at the end of the document and submit the paperwork to your AMCA Rep or Scrutineer to be issued with your registration sticker. A few points to remember: Daylight must be done before you can race No Daylights by our scrutineer will be performed on race days Paperwork can be submitted on the day at race meeting If you are unsure of anything give Steve Potts a call on 0412933675. Don't cheat yourself.........take the opportunity to learn and educate yourself on the rules and your car, you will be glad you did. We will be conducting our regular spot checks/scrutineering on race nights etc. Ok, so get the tape measure out and start measuring those cars, we are inside 2 weeks till race day!! 19.01.2022 We have confirmed a race date at Roma speedway for Saturday 24th October. It will be $140 per car with trophies for 1st 2nd & 3rd place. 15.01.2022 Sth East Queensland 2020-2021 Calendar Release With the 2020-2021 season fast approaching, a huge season of racing is planned in the South East corner of the State. We have a 12 round Track Championship at Archerfield Speedway, 3 rounds of racing at the Toowoomba Speedway, plus the Qld Title at Kingaroy Speedway. Lets all hope and pray that we can remain relatively COVID free and our season gets underway as planned.

10.01.2022 Clean Sweep for McKinnell Lee Mckinnell won both heats on his way to a comfortable win in the final of round 7 of the Shock Absorber Therapy Track Championship at Archerfield Speedway last night In a stacked field of 25 starters Tony Blanch came home in 2nd place with Australian champion Matt Hardy just pippping Steve Potts on the line for 3rd place. Potts would finish 4th ahead of Bruce Marshall, Thomas Vickery, Tim Gamble, Micheal Denning, Graeme Holland and Scott Hitchcock rounding out the Top Ten The Les Bubbles Restaurant Hard Charger award went to Thomas Vickery who went from position 15 up to 6th place in the final. Great drive Thomas !

08.01.2022 Matt Hardy enjoyed his first Feature Race victory aboard his new Panther Chassis last night in the re-run (due to rain out) of round 5 of the Shock Absorber Therapy Track Championship at Archerfield Speedway Matt led home Steve Potts in 2nd spot with Brett Robotham coming home in a hard fought 3rd place finish. Steve Price was the hard charger coming from the back of the grid in 17th up to 4th place, with Bruce Marshall completing the top 5 Thanks again to everyone for a gre...at nights racing Our next round of the Shock Absorber Therapy Track Championship is on the 27th February. 08.01.2022 It has been a busy few days in AMCA racing here in Sth East Qld this week. On Wednesday night we had the continuation of the Shock Absorber Therapy track championship at Archerfield Speedway, in which Bruce Marshall lead home Steve Potts (2nd) and Steve Price (3rd) Bruce decided to give everyone the slip last night on the high banks of Toowoomba Speedway by winning both his heats and the final on a fast bullring, this time leading home Matt Hardy (2nd) and Steve Price (3rd)... Congratulations Bruce on back to back wins We wish to thank everyone who made the 2 nights a success with just under 20 cars at both nights The racing was brilliant and a credit to everyone involved A big thank you as always to Shock Absorber Therapy for your support of AMCA See you in two weeks back at Toowoomba

03.01.2022 Tony Blanch Back To Back Qld Titles ! Tony Blanch had an amazing night at Kingaroy Speedway last night, winning all 3 of his qualifying heats and the Qld title Championship Race to claim his second Qld Title. The ever consistent Nathan Durston came home in 2nd place after driving a very patient race throughout the final... Bruce Marshall put on an amazing display of racing throughout the final continually racing the high line on the challenging surface almost taking the lead on a couple of occasions, but ultimately had to settle for third place at the conclusion. Congratulations to all drivers and teams on your racing last night. There has been quite a bit of positive feedback regarding our category last night and the display of racing you all put on. Well done to all. Thank you to everyone who travelled long distances last night to make our title event one of the best for some time. Hope you all had a great time and enjoyed yourselves.

In addition to a general f...reshen up, the rule changes relate to the introduction of new safety standards from the FIA and Snell Foundation. * New FIA safety standards, FIA 8856-2018 * New Snell SA2020 helmet standard from 1 October * Phasing out of Snell SA2010 standard from 1 July 2021, in accordance with Snell Foundation guidelines Safety Liz advises, These new standards are in addition to the existing standards so there is no immediate change necessary for any competitors. However, if you have a Snell SA2010 helmet, there’s only eight months of life left before the scheduled phase out on 1 July 2021. 02.01.2022 Bruce Marshall made it a hat trick of 3 feature wins in a row last night at Toowoomba Speedway. There was no stopping Bruce as he won both his heats and the final in emphatic fashion. Lee McKinnell drove a great race to come home in 2nd coming from 4th on the grid. Matt Hardy took a solid 3rd place finish ahead of Steve Potts and Tony Blanch rounding out the top 5 place getters. Thank you to everyone who made the trek to Toowoomba and hopefully see you all at Archerfield Speedway this coming Saturday night. Apologies for the lack of a photo from last night

01.01.2022 Due to the situation that has unfolded with regards to COVID19 and after consultation with our sponsors, it has been decided that we will be striking out season 2019/20 here in Sth East Qld and no championships will be awarded. We thank everyone for their contributions this past season that we had, including our valued sponsors in Shock Absorber Therapy, Russells Race Engines and Les Bubbles Restaurant.
