We will be re-training Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds to be well educated, versatile partners. 14.01.2022 We have some spunky looking ponies staying with us for training at the moment. Here a a couple of the cuties. Pablo the Appaloosa is here to re-start his riding career after a break due to an injury. Little Tinkerbell is a brumby filly being halter trained and Raine the Pally QH is with us for starting under saddle. It’s certainly colourful!

05.01.2022 This gorgeous palomino gelding is 4.5yo Quarterhorse "Raine". Raine has been with us for starting for the past 5 weeks and today was his first trail ride. Raine is super sensitive and Andrew has taken a lot of time to prepare him from the ground and he took it all in his stride today with the help of Char on lead-horse Buck and Misty who is also with us for starting. *** Raine will be advertised FOR SALE shortly *** If you're looking for a super spunky QH with a really fun personality and friendly temperament keep an eye out for his ad. He will need an experienced rider because he's very sensitive and obviously still green. We think he will make a super cow pony!

02.01.2022 It takes a village.... To help horses become and stay mentally, physically and emotionally balanced and happy in our busy world. We have so much appreciation and gratitude to the amazing individuals who support our work and philosophy of training horses (and their humans). ... So we'll be sharing some details of our village because these are amazing people dedicated to their skills and crafts. Today's gratitude post is for the multi-talented, body work (more like body magic) extraordinaire Helen Walker from Walker Wellness. On paper Helen is an EMMETT Practitioner and Instructor and Reiki Master, along with many other 'training systems' in her repertoire. In person Helen is a healer who weaves her knowledge with her intuitive guidance to facilitate profound shifts and healing in horses and humans. Helen is truly passionate about helping and healing as well as teaching and empowering people to help their own horses. We are lucky to have Helen come and visit AMT regularly to treat horses and work with us to investigate and resolve physical and emotional issues in some horses and to support general wellness in our horses. If your horse comes to us for training we can include treatments from Helen in your training plan. Send us a message for more info.
