24.01.2022 The Bunbury Open was held this weekend with a prize money of $3000 across all Open events. A large number of players from Perth travelled down to compete in the event including most of our An-Yu players. Our players again performed exceptionally, claiming titles and runners up in all Open events. It was also great to see the younger players stepping up and performing in this tournament. Keep up the good work team!

24.01.2022 The WA Senior Team recently returned from Launceston in Tasmania where they competed in the Ede Clendinen Shield and the Australian National Championships. The team played their hardest throughout the competition but only managed a 4th place finish at the teams event. Congratulations to Xiang Lin, who won the Mens Singles and played in the final of the Mixed Doubles. The team had a wonderful experience in Tasmania, especially those who had their first nationals experience. A special thank you to Sui Zhi Lau for mentoring and managing the team brilliantly and the umpire Bradley who worked tirelessly throughout the whole tournament. Finally, thank you to the sponsors of the team, Mustera Group, Newfield Resources, Baumart Holdings, BDO Tax services and Hai Tao Zheng. Your support in terms of funding is greatly appreciated by the team.

23.01.2022 2019 An-Yu Tan & Tan Lawyers Championship held this past weekend produced great results from our players. Again a huge congratulations to all winners and participants who had an enjoyable weekend of badminton. Well done to the Achievement Award winners Alyssa Lim, Marlynn Leo, Krishna Hareesh and Thierry Ling and also the Excellence Award winners Bernice Teoh, Joanne Zheng, Timothy Sentosa and Hong Yuan Wong, keep up the good work! 18.01.2022 The WA State Championships was held this weekend. The biggest event of the year attracted many players who wanted to claim the state title. The wheelchair event was again very well promoted by our able bodied athletes. Your efforts are very much appreciated. Well done to all the competitors for trying their best, and congratulations to our AnYu players who won all the Open State titles!

17.01.2022 Our holiday training program for the kids has finished for this break. The program ran across 3 days where the kids learnt the rules of singles and doubles, and played various games of badminton. We had kids from as young as 6 years old join us on this holiday program and they all throughly enjoyed themselves.

17.01.2022 WE HAVE GOOD NEWS!! Our annual family cup will be held on 4th October this year! Entries will be open 20th September and close on the 27th September. So parents, its time to start training!

09.01.2022 2020 PR Asia Activated Badminton Challenge Open & Graded Championship - Open Grade winners

09.01.2022 Some of An-Yu Badminton Academy players are going to KL Malaysia for friendly matches with some badminton clubs in KL from 14 to 18 January 2020. During these times, the players are joining trainings at Serdang Badminton Club. Huge thanks to Coach Ong Ewe Hock, Coach Koay Kar Leng and Coach Lim Sang Hoe and all their students.

08.01.2022 The Perth Championships held this weekend was our first tournament back after a lengthy lockdown from Covid. But even after the break, our players still performed well. It was great to see the sportsmanship and fighting spirit our players showed while they were on court. This tournament, Kai Chen won the Open Singles and doubles with Xiang; beating Hong Yuan in the singles final and Guy and Jasper in the doubles. Bernice also played well, taking out the Womens singles title by beating Alicia in the final. Meanwhile, Angie won the Womens doubles with Crystal, beating Bernice and Carrie, and also the Mixed doubles with Jasper, beating Crystal and Andrew. Not a bad performance from all our players in the first tournament back! Keep up the great work!

06.01.2022 The weekend has ended with the 2020 Junior State Individual Championships. Our players played very well over a tough 4 days of competition, which included the teams event, and came away with the win in most of the age groups. It was rewarding to see the players try their best while also having fun. Keep up the good work!

03.01.2022 Our An-Yu Team Trophy was played this Sunday which included events from Under 11 to Open and Over 45. This event welcomed teams from all around Perth, with players from SKM academy and even teams from the North. We would like to thank Wen Liang, Julian, Angie, Annie and Jasper for their tireless work at the match desk and organising the tournament. Thank you Hengky for the amazing photography. Also to the volunteer mums who ran the kitchen to provide players with great food and snacks. 02.01.2022 The 2020 State Junior Team Championships, our first tournament post Covid, concluded yesterday. Our AnYu teams performed well across the age groups in the 2 day event, taking out the U17 age group while placing second and third in U11 and U13. Good luck to the players who are competing in the Individual Championships following the team event which is starting today.

02.01.2022 Happy New Year 2020 2019 was another eventful year for the An-Yu Academy. A big thank you to our sponsors Tan & Tan Lawyers, Wang Zheng Badminton Academy and Jooyyume Badminton Academy. Without your continuous support this would not be possible. Well done to the players who tried their best for all the tournaments we held throughout the year as it is rewarding to watch them improve every week. Highlights of the year include Timothy Sentosa and Joanne Zheng winning national U...15 titles and Bernice Teoh representing Australia in the first World Junior Championships. Also Xiang Lin who travelled to Melbourne to play in the Victorian Open and came away with the Mens Singles Title. What an awesome 2019 and heres to a better 2020 !
