25.01.2022 SHELTER UPDATE: THIS LOVELY BOY HAS BEEN ADOPTED REG: 1455 Name: Jack Age: 5 years old ... Gender: Male Breed Jack Russel Hi, I'm Jack, a very handsome 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier. I'm looking for new owners who have experience with high energy Jack Russels. I am pretty good meeting new people so any potential owner will just love my company. But even though I like people I will need to have someone that is patient with me that will take me on walks so I can build up complete trust. Once I have built up trust with someone I can be a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to play ball. Unfortunately I've been surrendered because I was escaping from time to time, so I will need a properly secured backyard to explore in. It important that my new owners have lots of time and patience as it may take me time to settle in and for my real character to come out. I do need to continue working on my social skills with other dogs as I can be vocal when I see dogs on my walks but my friends think I could possibly live with another dog. 23.01.2022 REG: 1480 BREED: Amstaff Age: 12 months GENDER: Female Name: Sally... Sally has known one home her whole life and due to unforeseen reasons in her house, that home is no more for Sally. Understandably Sally is a little confused right now since her world has been turned upside down. This girl is so sweet and calm with anyone she has met since coming to the shelter, she is really eager to find her happy place again. Sally is looking for the right home for her where she can be with her people, her favourite thing to do, and get lots of love and affection to help her brighten back up her spirits. Sally walks well on leash, but can be a bit over excited at times if she hears something that may be new to her. She is said to do well with children and dogs, if you have a dog at home and think sally may be a fit for your household a meet and greet with the other dog is recommended. It is unknown how sally is with cats as she has never been around them. 20.01.2022 SHELTER UPDATE: Wonderful news. This lovely ball of fluff has finally been adopted. Goodbye darling!!!! THIS CAT IS IN URGENT NEED OF A HOME! Reg: 1449... Age: 13 months Gender: Male This lovely boy was brought into the Shelter with a microchip, however the owner is not coming forward to claim him. He has until the 29/10/2020 to come and get him. It doesnt look likely that he is going to come and get him, so he will need to be rehoused to a new family. Please contact the Shelter if you are interested in adopting this lovebug. 900113001876878

20.01.2022 SHELTER UPDATE: Great news Davison has found his forever home REG: 1487 Gender: Desexed male Name Davidson ... Age: 6 years Name: Davison Davison is a beautiful charismatic cat who came to us with his sister Pippa due to some unforeseen circumstances. He has the softest fur imaginable. Davison is always waiting to say hello when I come in to clean the cat room and just loves a little rub under the neck and an occasional back rub. He likes to express is gratitude with a little purr once in a while. Davison is a very chilled cat especially when music is playing. He would probably love a quiet gentle carer as he would appreciate some couch potato time with his equally cool, calm and collected owner watching a series on Netflix. While he doesn’t continually hang out with his sister, and wouldn’t mind being the only cat, he probably wouldn’t mind living with another cat and would not dominate the situation at all. Please consider giving Davison a second chance as he is really worth the time investment. 18.01.2022 So its that time of the year again and what a tough year it has been! So to get into the Christmas spirit we are wanting to zhoosh up the Shelter and put up some Chrissy decorations. So if you are throwing out some old decorations, animal toys or treats, please consider bringing them out to the shelter so we can have a festive and fun filled Christmas with our cute residents. I’m Macka, I’m a pretty placid boy with a big heart looking for a new best friend to lay in the sun with and who will take me to the dog park so I can run free and maybe lose a few kilos haha. I LOVE to feel the breeze as I run! I will need to go to a nice quite/calm home that will let me have access to the outdoors and indoors as I please. This is so I can be as relaxed as possible and take myself away when things get too noisy. I have problem when it comes to sheep, so I will need to be in home that doesn’t allow me to chase them. My new owner will have to have large breed experience so they can attend to my specific needs and keep me happy and healthy. I love love love kids! So I would love a home where I could hang out with some little humans. Oh and I also have no worries hanging out with other dogs. They will grow to be at least a medium sized dog. Mum is a kelpie, and daddy was apparently a traveling salesman. These puppies are a bundle of normal puppy energy and affection and would make lovely companions. If you’d like to meet these little winners, please pop out to the Shelter during business hours. ... Age: 4 years old Name: Pippa Pippa is a totally cute, sweet, silly tuxie cat with a white tip on her twinkle toes and a darling little face. She’s sociable and playful and an all-around perfect lady. There’s nothing to say but good things about this dainty ballerina. I mean, look at that posture! Pippa isn’t the least bit shy, and spends most of her time exploring and discovering hidden delights in every possible thing. At this stage she’s not the biggest cuddler, because there are things to do and places to go and games to play. But if you put your hands on the floor and beckon to her, she’ll come running to say hi. She will sleep with you in bed if you let her, but at some point she has to go off when adventures call. As she gets even older, she’ll probably settle down and find her inner cuddlepuss. Wouldn’t you like to have this precious cat as your new companion? I mean, who wouldn’t?! His 3 other brothers got a loving home within the first hours of them arriving at the Shelter but unfortunately this puppy that I call Zeke (meaning hope) is still waiting to find his home. 11.01.2022 SHELTER UPDATE: Jack has now been adopted. Goodbye buddy REG: 1468 Name: Jack Age: 8 years old... Gender: Male Jack is a 8-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. Jack does enjoy attention and interaction with his owner, although he is an independent boy who is not a always a lapdog. Jack likes having his own space and can sometimes be uncomfortable being handled, he would like a home with calm owners as he is an older dog. He is a happy little man and he loves his walks! He likes to explore and have a sniff in amongst the leaves and the tall grass. Jack is looking for a peaceful home with an experienced owner who has owned Terriers before. He can be uncomfortable with close handling and does take a bit of time to trust you. His favourite places to walk are areas with not many other dogs around where he can enjoy exploring and the peace and quiet. Jack would love his own garden where he can potter and play with his toys before relaxing in his cosy bed. Jack is a clever little man who will sit nicely and give a paw for a tasty treat! He is fully house trained and is happy to be at home for a couple of hours on his own. Jack would like to meet his new family a few times before going home to build a relationship. 03.01.2022 SHELTER UPDATE: This cat has now been adopted REG: 1474 Breed: Ragdoll Age: 6 years old... gender: Male The General is looking for a new loving family. This male Desexed Ragdoll cat named The General, is sweet, expressive, and incredibly loving. The General prefers to be the only cat in the home. He is the King and prefers to be the recipient of all the human attention. He will not tolerate any other animals so he will need to be with a family that has no other pets. Humans he absolutely adores. He is sweet, and loves being scratched, petted, and groomed. He will play all day, and snuggle all night. The General is a registered purebred Ragdoll. All the paperwork has been provided by the previous owner. 01.01.2022 Reg: 1475 Age: 13 weeks Name: Stella STELLA... Stella is the best kitten! She will greet you at the door with her long tail flying high, her cute little face, purring nonstop, ready for anything! Stella has become a very good cuddler, and is always down for a good play session, in fact she never wants to stop playing. Stella would be OK going on her own as long as her human(s) spend a good amount of time playing with her, but would love a kitty playmate, too. Unfortunately its almost impossible to get a good photo of Stella as she’s a little wriggler, so why don’t you drive out to the Shelter to meet her in person!
