24.01.2022 Another client quilt in Darling Harbour Show....

23.01.2022 Hot off the machine today E2E called Wrought Iron .... 103 x103... A tad on the large side!.... I had to join some wadding as it was wider than my large wadding ( having bought a piece that was shredded and unusable ... I returned that') ... Now moving onto another one...

23.01.2022 And for another change of style... Hot off the machine today . The ginkgo leaves are in a subtle silver .

22.01.2022 Recently I had the privilege of quilting this quilt for a group of clergy wives as their gift to Christine Jensen, wife of retiring Anglican Archbishop of Sydney, Peter Jensen.... Mostly pieced blocks, a couple of appliqués ones and some embroidered ones of places such as Zmoore college , at Andrews Cathedral and Bishops court . A beautiful quilt reflecting the love and admiration of those that made it for a very gracious recipient .

22.01.2022 I love the story of this quilt I ditch stitched, which will gradually get hand quilted ...I watched it come together over many months , and got to see how much love is shared by the maker and receiver , daughter and mother ... Lisa and Margaret ... Happy birthday Margaret, lovely work Lisa.

11.01.2022 The Green Gobelin is finally ticked off my list. The owners are film makers who made the double wedding ring design out if their "green sheet backdrop"... Looks very different with all the texture .

06.01.2022 Another e2e finished.... Gold thread, pattern called Chrissy to match the flowers on the oriental fabric.

05.01.2022 A recent "Thimbleberries" quilt using fabric from her stash... Not the usual colours !... She wanted naive bugs and dogwood blossoms, nothing too fussy. It was lovely to get an email from her tonight saying it was exactly what she wanted.

03.01.2022 Hello friends in quilt land !.. I haven't posted much lately as I have been busy quilting but also have become involved in a health program . As quilters, life is often sedentary and we spend a lot of time sitting standing and often eating ( perhaps not the best choices) ... And I found myself significantly overweight and very unwell . A friend introduced me to a life changing program that has turned that around . I have shed 20 kgs of fat, gained muscle, and my blood work is now normal yay ! ... Which means a longer healthier happier life where i can fully participate . If you'd like help In that department or just more info , head over to my other Facebook page BillActive.. Like the page and check out some posts . There is also a Link for getting more info .... So back to the joy of colour and texture and get those quilts happening!
