25.01.2022 A little dash of France, the village community garden. Most villages have these quiet and delightful spaces accessible to all. A wooden barrow under the abor of westeria really took my eye.

22.01.2022 Another portrait from another life and time. Not a veery good photo of this painting which has long gone. Portrait commissions can be about the person, the favoured place they are positioned. for example the favourite family holiday spot, a treasured memory in time. Or your portrait may want to be purely a bot the person without distraction around them. Which do you prefer? There person in a scene..or... Just the person? See more

Let's face it, it never will be... It's enough to let you know about it. the link below if you would like to pop over and sticky beak. 15.01.2022 I’ve just returned from a lovely visit with my son Wade’s family. His eldest child a boy, who, after being photographed often, now at 11 refuses to have his photo taken. Even though he is beginning to rebel, he is such a good boy. Like all big brothers his younger sisters are still fare game in the tormenting department, but very gentley. ... I loved the time wiping the dishes that he had washed, a special time just him and I in the kitchen. This is an experiment of a baby with bib at dinner time. Baby Leo and his dimples. 12.01.2022 Art can be a big part of healing and recovery. If you can see, touch, smell and hear, and can create art. In what ever form that is, it can contribute to healing. Q: How does art contribute to healing? A: Art is healing because it forces you to forge a connection between your mind and your body. Unlike exercise, which works your body, or meditation, which clears your mind, art-making accesses both mind and body to promote healing. Every time you sit down to write a song or paint a picture, you’re using mental processes in a physically engaging activity.
