23.01.2022 VCAT process starts today for 11-15 Ascot Vale Rd. We'll keep you posted as we all work towards an acceptable outcome!

21.01.2022 Good news the original VRC proposal of 3 residential towers of 31, 26 and 25 stories at the Hill entrance to Flemington Racecourse, will not proceed. Sensibly it was rejected, and the Minister capped the 3 towers at 10 stories. However, the land was rezoned to CDZ to facilitate the project - which we believe is an unnecessary move. http://www.theage.com.au//flemington-development-given-gre

10.01.2022 Urgent action needed!! Another high rise development in Ascot Vale. 11-15 Ascot Vale Rd: 17 storey with 198 apartments, next door to 1 Ascot Vale Rd (400 apartments). Is with VCAT and submission close THIS FRIDAY. You need to: - Download a form from https://www.vcat.vic.gov.au//statement-of-grounds-planning. Given the timeframe, it must be hand delivered to: - VCAT (via post possible, if sent tomorrow) - lawyers representing the developer Rigby Cooke Lawyers, Melbourn...e - MVCC (can be done via email) If this development is approved, it will change the fabric of Ascot Vale. Extra traffic congestion and pressure on an already overcrowded public transport network only a few of the issues it will create. Please ACT NOW if you are concerned!
