25.01.2022 Thank you to Albany Creek SS P&C for this great idea and reminder! OUR Christmas Stall gift vouchers are available now until Thursday 26 via Flexischools. The Stall will be held in Week 9 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please remember to pack a reusable bag for your children and if you think they need a reminder as to whom they are packing for, then pop a post-it in the bag as well. Its a chance to learn the netball basics, get outside and make some friends. For a lot of kids, this is the first time theyll pick up a netball or chuck on a bib. Its a learning experience. And a lot of fun. HOW DOES NetSetGo WORK? Suncorp NetSetGO is divided up into three tiers: Net, Set and GO. Where you start depends on your age and netball experience. As you move through the tiers, youll pick up more advanced netball skills. One week it might be passing drills and ball games, next it could be shooting and practice matches. 16.01.2022 Fathers Day Stall 2020 Finally! An event that can proceed, albeit with a few changes. The P&C are excited to give our students the opportunity to purchase something special for the dad figure in their lives from the 2020 Fathers Day Stall.... As explained in the newsletter, we have made some adjustments to make it COVID-Safe. By purchasing a $5 voucher to spend at the stall, you are effectively purchasing a raffle ticket into an awesome Fathers Day prize draw. What happens if your voucher doesnt win? Then your student will get to spend that voucher at the stall for some pre-packed special goodies. World Mental Health Day is held on October 10 - so thats a month to plan something at your workplace or with friends to have a conversation about mental health. Approximately 1 in 5 Australians will experience mental health illness. Massive thank you to all the families for supporting the Fathers Day Stall this year - it was a little different from previous years, but the kids did a fantastic job selecting something for their dads. The funniest comment I heard was (after the student selected two packets of sweet treats) "My dad is getting fit - so he will want to give these to us!" There is a little humour with a lot of our packs this year - so we hope dads enjoy the...ir special day on Sunday with a smile! We appreciate all the parents who jumped online to get vouchers, as this really did make the process a lot smoother for our limited volunteers! Congratulations also to the Fathers Day Draw Winners - they collected their prizes during the stall.
