25.01.2022 Will not be going back to try dinner at Marybrooke.Love the decor, love the food but they desperately need a barista as the coffee is dreadful!! 3 different tries but still the cappucino was a flat white with frothy sludge. Shame.

24.01.2022 Munrose Caf in Belgrave South is definitely the place to have lunch on Saturdays. It is really hard to get a table now. The chicken souvlaki is sensational!! Give It A Go!

24.01.2022 Montys Char Grilled Burgers In The Hills. Main St Upwey.New in the Hills. Well worth stopping here.Sensational burger, great chips. Super mouth watering Saganaki with pita and salad all at very reasonable prices. Yummy fresh food.

22.01.2022 I know we post lots of times about Munrose in Belgrave South, but it really is THAT good. Lunch today was their yummy (and perfect for a cold winter's day) mac & cheese with chips and salad. And some more delicious sweet things to take home for later ;)

15.01.2022 With spring just around the corner, we at A Taste Of The Dandenongs are coming out of hibernation to bring you more news of great spots in this magnificent area. Today we stopped at King Henry Arts Cafe. Recently re-opened with new owners, we were very pleased with what we found. Meals were delicious (all day breakfast!) as was the Devonshire tea. Great coffee too. Highly recommended and we will definitely be going back!

13.01.2022 Back at ah' Cioccolato in Bayview Rd Belgrave for more delicious churros (with melted chocolate dipping sauce!) and iced coffee. Mmm... Certainly worth coming back over and over again!

13.01.2022 If youre up in Mt Dandenong, you really need to visit Brunch (ex Harrys Couch and Lady Hawke). They do all-day breakfast and excellent lunch. Also try the Proper English Afternoon Tea for Two. Absolutely delicious!

13.01.2022 ah Cioccolata 17 Bayview rd Belgrave. Only a little place but they make the most sensational Hot Chocolate and their Carrot Cake is fantastic!! worth a visit. Try the Churros dipped in chocolate...yummmm

10.01.2022 I just can't help it!!! The choc cookie slice filled with chocolate ganache at Munrose Cafe in Belgrave South was unbelievably delicious! A taste sensation!

09.01.2022 It looks like it's going to be a pretty good weekend in the Dandenongs, so I suggest you go on a food quest like we here at ATOTD did last weekend. Our mission: to find the best churros, best coffee, best scones and best carrot cake our area has to offer. ah Cioccolato is of course the home of wonderful churros plus have excellent coffee. Scones (and more great coffee!) from Grants on Sherbrooke. Carrot cake was a bit harder. ah Cioccolato had run out, as had Cafe Have Ya Bean so we ended up at Emerald Bakery. Unfortunately theirs was a bit dry, so our quest continues!

08.01.2022 Ok, so maybe not completely "in" the Dandenongs, nevertheless this is another great place to stop for coffee and cake, all-day breakfast or lunch. The paninis are very yummy!

07.01.2022 Fab restaurant in Belgrave Heights....great little secret! The absolute best Lemon Tart.Give it a go. Super new menu with utterly delicious Breakfast Bagette with Bill's bacon.

07.01.2022 Tarrawarra Winery Estate, Yarra Valley. Beautiful glasses for fine wine tasting.Stunning views.worth a visit but take away cups if you want to sit on the deck and enjoy the view! No Way.

06.01.2022 Reel, Belgrave. Gave this place another go and wow what a change. Service was great, food excellent and even good coffee. Try it out in the new year.

06.01.2022 Lunch at Cafe Have Ya Bean of satay chicken skewers and tandoori wrap. Coffee and chicken beautiful, but satay sauce lacking a bit of oomph and so much chutney in the wrap you couldn't taste much else. Service is also starting to lack. Will keep an eye on this one-hopefully they can get their problems sorted out soon!

04.01.2022 Marybrooke (used to be The Baron of Beef) Sherbrooke are now doing breakfast, lunch and dinner in PJ's Restaurant. Really lovely surroundings and very good food at reasonable cost. Tell me what you think. Had breakfast but haven't tried dinner yet but cannot wait.

04.01.2022 The home made Wagon Wheels at Munrose Cafe in Belgrave South have to be tasted to be believed. Double choc chip cookies layered all home made with jam and marshmallow...divine!!
