23.01.2022 Fantastic to see the doco "Freeman" last night. If you missed it I highly recommend you catch it on https://iview.abc.net.au/show/freeman/video/RF1906V001S00. Such a fantastic story of one of the greatest achievements in Australian Sporting history. Cathy Freeman what an extraordinary athlete. One day we will hopefully tell the untold story of Cathys long term Sports Massage Therapist, Gary Miritis and his contribution to her successful career. I was lucky enough to see Cathys career unfold at close hand especially seeing her win Olympic Silver in Atlanta USA in 1996 and Olympic Gold in Sydney 2000.

16.01.2022 Melbourne and Movement EASE: sounds exciting? We have had a number of people asking whether Movement EASE will come to Australia, and there is a possibility that we might be able to work it into the schedule in February if there is sufficient interest. So... if you are a Pilates teacher, somatic teacher, massage therapist, yoga teacher, Alexander teacher, personal trainer or any other professional interested in working holistically yet functionally, based on sound science app...lied with sensitivity and insight, this is a course you will want to be a part of. Seamlessly and elegantly integrate brain and body, blending biomechanics, fascial concepts, emotion and brain science, and the art and neuroscience of eliciting positive change in posture and movement. Leave with a fresh, meaningful way to engage with your clients for health, recovery and wellbeing, using simple but powerful techniques and concepts. You will gain a whole new way to approach your clients movement, whether they are carrying injuries or simply aspiring to their personal best. You will learn the language of forces in the body, and how they can work for or against you. You will learn to play with your language and your tactile skills to elicit new movement responses. And best of all, you will come away with a deeper understanding of yourself and your own beliefs, habits and possibilities. To find out more, click here: http://www.jemsmovement.com/health-fitness-wellbeing-profe/ and contact Rob Granter at [email protected] to register your interest. Dont delay - if we get the numbers, we will run it, but we will need to know quite soon! See more

15.01.2022 Teaching a wonderful group of 19 therapists in Coffs Harbour today. Got off to a shaky start. Flight delayed from Melbourne yesterday, missed my connecting flight. Qantas flew me to Port Macquarie and 2 hr bus trip to Coffs with a lost bag. Started todays course in the same clothes, no additional class notes & no laptop charger. Talk about teaching on the edge. Bag arrived mid morning to save the day.
