Mabuwaya is actively working in the municipalities of San Mariano and Divilacan to conserve the remnant wild population of the Philippine crocodile in the Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park and its periphery in northern Luzon Island. This is one of only two wild populations left in the wild ,and the only on...e that can be safely accessed and protected. . Mabuwaya uses a community-based conservation approach aimed at raising awareness about the Philippine crocodile, and local acceptance and participation in crocodile conservation. 21.01.2022 After last summer’s devastating fires, the ASZK donated $2400 to help Kangaroo Island Land for Wildlife care for the endangered Kangaroo Island dunnart. Nearly twelve months on and its great to see another fantastic initiative to aid the recovery of the KI dunnart and other species impacted by the Black Summer fires.
