13.01.2022 Major announcement regarding World Time Attack Challenge 2020.

13.01.2022 Epic 3x days at Pukekohe. We qualified 6th and finished 7th. In the battles we had bye in the Top 24, won our battle against Cole Armstrong in the Top 16, and ...lost to Darren Kelly in the top 8. During the Darren Kelly battle I lost 2nd gear due to a mis-shift and at the same time the sensor which calculates which gear the engine is in , ended up grinding itself on the drive shaft toothed pickup, so we lost boost by gear and the car was stuck on wastegate pressure of 13psi, versus what it was doing all weekend was 1st gear 13psi, 2nd gear 18psi, 3rd gear 22psi and 4th gear 25psi. The boost by gear came in handy all weekend, as I was nudging up the boost in 4th gear to overcome the super grippy setup on initiation. The ability to add in extra power in just 4th gear was helping to reduce the reliance on the hand brake, and allowing the engine to help power over abit more on initation. The amount of grip on the track and in all drivers cars this weekend was pretty insane really. Most events it seems people are always adding in grip, but this event people were taking out grip. There's alot to go wrong at Pukekohe and having the gripped up setups meant less margin for error. We're lucky that over the past few months with all the changes that have been made to the car, have paid off and that the car is still quite easy to manage. Definitely the steering over the weekend was amazing which helped give the confidence needed . Once again, thank you to my team for keeping the car on track, and everyone who has helped out over the past few months - much appreciated ! Heaps more video to come. 04.01.2022 30/03/20: The Australian Government announced stricter restrictions and further advice last night in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the ARDC ha...s decided to temporarily cease all activities scheduled at Sydney Motorsport Park, effective immediately. While we understand that it is still technically permissible to continue operations with correct social distancing and hygiene requirements the time has come not to finesse the rules but to ensure we are meeting social expectations and making our contribution to protect public health.
