25.01.2022 This past Sunday 12 January 2020 five players from the Balga Cricket Club represented the Northern Suburbs Community Cricket Association in a victorious grand final win over Perth Swan Cricket Association which was played at the WACA. Congratulations to Trevor Kearsley, Nathan Hearnes, Shane Wilson (Who hit a towering six straight down the ground), Peter Denman and Man of Match Mick Cordell who made a quick fire 20 runs and followed up with a 4 wicket haul. A great fielding effort by Trevor Kearsley but was unable to get a bat. Also to Nathan Hearnes, didn't get show his big hitting abilities but took a very good catch. A shout out to Paul Cunningham and Tony Denman who also helped the team reach this point but missed out on the final selection. Great effort to all involved, a great Balga Cricket Club moment!

25.01.2022 Great effort by everyone yesterday. Not the result we we’re after but the boys did us proud. Also great to see parts of the hill with supporters and a full verandah area. We were the first cricket club to try this new venture and with great support we reached 2730 unique viewers and had just shy of 5000 clicks on video throughout the day. Again well done B Grade for representing the club in a spectacular manner and to our supporters both at the game and streaming, we did ourselves proud are leading the way for what community sports is about.

24.01.2022 The Balga Cricket Club is excited to announce that our B Grade side has made it through to the One Day Grand Final on Sunday 23 February 2020 against North Beach Cricket Club. To add to the excitement around this fixture and the continuous improvements we are making down at our club, this match will be streamed live with full commentary thanks to our wonderful committee and Sports Edge Media. We encourage all our great members to get down to the club to enjoy the day with all facilities open including the bar and canteen. Lets make a great atmosphere down there and support our team. With a tight G Grade competition going on they team just need to string a few wins together like the start of season and a trip to the finals is on the cards. Get behind Shakey and his team, confidence is the key and those wins will return.

23.01.2022 So our Round 12 results have come through and B Grade again showing the way with another great performance led by some great batting by Glen Gillett-Payne and Mike Young (Rallycar Driver) then followed by the ball with Kaine Bubb taking two five wicket hauls and Tony Denman continuing his handy work. Second on the ladder remains ours, keep pushing for that top spot.

20.01.2022 Our G Grade struggled through week 12 having a bad couple of weeks. Hang in there boys, get behind your captain, the club is behind you as we endevour to finish off the season strong and represent this great great proudly. New week new opportunities.

A big congrats to Captain Jared Ryan and his team on also qualifying for the one day final....AT HOME. Well done to everyone and more news to come on some details for the Final.
