25.01.2022 Autumn has well and truly peaked and these photos from Megan Williams Lawless and memories of Bunbury beautifully preserve more moments of its glory. Many thanks.

24.01.2022 A couple more from Mums Day. Where has all this extra time I thought was one of the positives of CV19 gone? More to come; soon; as soon as other duties are done If you've got the time then skedaddle down there..

24.01.2022 Spring is unfolding at GVTP! The next couple of weeks willl see the most rapid changes. More pics to come soon but at this time I have a plea for help: I lot my Bolle sunglasses, I think between the car park in the World Collection and around the picnic area. They are photo sensitive and I need them to aid my partial blindness. They cost more than I have spent on other sunglasses in my entire life so would be enormously grateful if anyone finds them. Please PM me if you can help.

22.01.2022 A few more spring glimpses

21.01.2022 Did I share these pics from Belinda West? Still learning but if you post yor pics to the timeline the will appear in visitors pics album and then its easy to share to Page timeline without mucking around.

18.01.2022 Wild night in Balingup tonight. Hopefully no so wild it washes all the dry soil away and the trees that have been surviving by lifelines such as this will get a good drink tonight and regularly in the near future.

18.01.2022 Magical misty and mystical mornings at Golden Valley; never know who ’you’ll meet or greet; a new friend or someone almost lost in the mist of years.

16.01.2022 For all you GVTP lovers and supporters: may you revel in just a few of the legions of volunteers who have made this place EPIC. I couldn't choose betwixt and between most of the pics so here are most of them. All pictures by Robert Mann. Lotsa

15.01.2022 Evokes a strange bird in flight to me

12.01.2022 Thanks to Adriana Bolger for these lovely pics of her recent visit to the world collection. The colours are still great!

11.01.2022 Many thanks to Alissa Holmes for these photos of her visit with her family last week.

10.01.2022 MASSIVE TREE PLANTING THIS SATURDAY JULY 18 Hi Everybody, The biggest Tree Park tree planting for quite some time, if not ever, is scheduled for Saturday July 18th, although if the weather looks truly horrid we’ll push it back a week. We won’t let a few little showers stop us though. (Will advise about any change close to the time.)... It won’t be back breaking. The ground is prepared, the small seedlings can be planted through a tube without bending over, working in teams of two, one planting one passing the planter the trees. Also there will be a need for porters to keep the supply of trees up to the planters. We will, somewhat innovatingly, be planting Canary Island Pines in the Hidden Valley area, to replace the common Radiata Pine. The canariensis are about the most drought hardy of the pines, and light fuel reduction burns can be carried out underneath them because they have thick skins. They are slower growing but that means stronger, denser timber. As usual a 9am start with morning tea around eleven. Meet at the Duck Pond. no tools, only gloves needed, if you have them, otherwise there will be some spare. Chrissy will probably not be able to put in an appearance due to recovering from knee replacement surgery. Contributions to the morning tea will be very welcome. Please advise if you can help in this regard so that we can judge how much may be on the table (so to speak). Kind regards, Andrew

10.01.2022 Love the pines. Pining away for you to visit them. Just behind the most popular tree in the Paqrk.

09.01.2022 Weeding, righting and rithmatic: Stopping g the thistles from taking over again, helping tand feeding he seedlings and saplings (the sheep got into the pines 'cos SOMEBODY left a gate open) and generally making the place right for the increasing amount of visitors. Need an excuse to get out and enjoy GTP? Put yourself on the volunteer mailing list by contacting Andrew on [email protected]. No pressure; just come when you can; always enjoyable no matter what the season.

09.01.2022 A few spring snaps.

06.01.2022 A collection of shots from Autumn. Images by Robert Mann unless otherwise noted. Copyleft

Great day, perfect weather great people. Unfortunately I missed the morning tea due to other commitments. Please feel free to tag yourself in the photos..

02.01.2022 These photos were sent in by Deb De Jonghe from a visit four years ago yesterday. Note the green and the water levels in the spring compared to this year

01.01.2022 Mothers day was massive at GVTP, probably a combination of not-too-many other places to go and a peak autumn day. The car park was overflowing like for special events. There was a traffic jam because normally for special events there are volunteers to assist people parking. Took soo many photos but permists only a few snaps at the moment. If you an get down to the world collection and enjoy the best of autumn colours.
