23.01.2022 I have been asked to write a little more about my services, to impart my experience to you the client. I am working with some wonderful artists already for: : skills/artistic development at a top level : technique strengthening - including physiotherapy exercises... : progressive rehab class for an ACL reconstruction : exam and eisteddfod tuning : Ballet "gym" knowledge to support and strengthen the dancer focussed in a non-balletic direction The combination of working with the individual and/or parent/physio/ballet teacher is very rewarding. All team members supporting the artist to further their goal...that is what it is all about right... "it takes a village". The level of the Sydney Eisteddfod has been extraordinary- as it was 3 years ago when I was last adjudicating. The National training level has been interesting to view and compare. Positives are the focus on detail and clarity of technique and in-between pathways. Negatives/ "to be worked on" are the control of the foot/ankle and weight changing and correct use of porte de bras to support the movement and connect the 2 halves of the body...not just to "carry the arms". Stand-outs were with natural carriage and performance and the rare brilliant sense of self and use of porte de bras to fill the movement/communication- these individuals I look forward to seeing August 26th for the Finals at the Sydney Opera House. I look forward to meeting more actors, musical theatre and you who require an eye to support and give feed-back for speech presentations. Please take a look at the web-site for any further information. Look forward to working with you.

19.01.2022 Were back in live action. Please feel able to contact and ask about live coaching opportunities once more. This is the time to finesse and train once more. I have begun teaching some classes down south and i have loved the zoom and telecoaching, but craving to get into the studio again to coach.

05.01.2022 Great dancer and gentleman. Beautiful clean technique. Dancing with him was definitely a career highlight. Enjoy.

05.01.2022 Keeping Winter Blues at bay. Coaching lovely students in Perth: Lucy and Jacqleen both from Perth School of ballet. More to be added as the rehearsals progress from Bunbury School of Classical and Contemporary Ballet + Footballer warm-up/cool-down as well. Where would Australia be without coaching some footballers!

04.01.2022 From our Director, Patrick Armand: The ballet studio is such a special place because its where we pass on the knowledge of classical ballet from one generation... to the next. I strongly believe that ballet is taught person-to-person and that this process can never truly be replicated outside of the ballet studio. But in these challenging times, we also must find ways to adapt and maintain our essential connection to our students and our communities. This week, we are excited to pilot online classes and activities for our students, who cannot physically be in the studio with us. But we want to caution that these videos and streams cannot replace the essential training that happens in a studio. We cannot wait to be all back together in person, dancing together. #SFBalletSchoolConnects #SFBalletCan #SFBalletCares #SFBalletCreates Photo: SF Ballet School Director Patrick Armand oversees the first ever School auditions in Mexico during Despertares Impulsa // Santiago Barreiro

02.01.2022 Excited to be going to Brisbane to adjudicate the RAD Jaqueline Moreland award with David McAllister AM and Andrew Wright, Soloist with the Australian Ballet. https://www.rad.org.au/events/jacqueline-morland-awards-2019 Queensland has such a strong Classical Ballet Community, it should be a very interesting and inspiring competition.
