24.01.2022 A very long break & a completely new look - I'm feeling very excited to be conducting Kristina's & Edward's wedding at Bundeena this coming Saturday

23.01.2022 All prepared for yesterday's wedding near Wollongong. This wedding was a delightful reminder of our connections with other people - in this case, a personal connection between the Bride's Mum & me that goes back over 30 years. Finding a connection with a couple adds so much joy to a ceremony. Sometimes the connection is personal (like yesterday), sometimes it's a shared experience & sometimes it's our shared humanity. Whatever the connection, they are all important & help to bring warmth & sparkle into a ceremony.

20.01.2022 Thank you so much for everything & all the organising you did to help get our Marriage Ceremony sorted with such short notice. It was an absolutely perfect day & we couldnt be happier with how it all turned out & how relaxed it was. You made sure our ceremony was 100% us; the amount of thought & planning you put into it was so evident throughout the ceremony. Guests commented on how perfect the day was for Tyler & I & how well you were able to include them into the ceremony to make it more intimate & special. Kortney & Tyler

20.01.2022 Preparations for Juless & Bens beautiful wedding yesterday -a touch of Narrabri in the floral arrangements. Photos of the ceremony still to come!

18.01.2022 A Notice of Intended Marriage needs to be completed, witnessed & lodged with a Celebrant at least one month before the day on which you want to be married. It is, however, valid for 18mths after a Celebrant has received it. This gives you some flexibility in these uncertain times. If you lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage with me, I will endeavour to accommodate any changes in your proposed wedding date. Join my priority list now!

18.01.2022 What a delightful celebratory occasion Fiona's & Michael's wedding was in the park at Lavender Bay, Sydney. A ceremony filled with symbolism, inclusion of family & input from Fiona & Michael so that their ceremony was a true reflection of them as a couple. Their generous review of the ceremony needs to be shared; "We were very blessed to have Barbara as our Marriage Celebrant! Barbara was professional and extremely well organised, yet also warm, friendly and respectful in he...r approach to our Marriage Ceremony and to us as a couple. Her knowledge of the official requirements of a Marriage Ceremony, including all the paperwork, was excellent. Barbara's communications were clear and prompt. Her ideas and suggestions for the Ceremony were a wonderful help, and she was very willing to work in with us and what we would like to bring to the Ceremony. She also has a good sense of humour, and brings a lightness to the event! I recommend Barbara wholeheartedly, and of course her husband Fenton and his part in the journey! Much gratitude, Fiona and Michael See more

17.01.2022 I'm only just getting around to sharing some photos of Ash's & Blake's wedding at Ruby's Mt Kembla. Such a lot of fun for a delightful couple.

16.01.2022 Today is a day of optimism with the easing of restrictions in NSW. Id love to talk with you about your wedding ceremony & help you plan for your special day.

16.01.2022 Tip: Book your Marriage Celebrant as soon as possible after you've decided to get married. Your Celebrant must receive your Notice of Intended Marriage form at least one month prior (but no longer than 18 months prior) to your wedding date. You can liaise with your Celebrant & change the date for your wedding if necessary, provided it still falls within the dates mentioned above & your changed date suits your Celebrant.

13.01.2022 How gorgeous is Bundeena for a wedding? For those of you not familiar with Bundeena, it lies within the Royal National Park in southern Sydney & looks across Port Hacking to Cronulla. A very cute ferry operates between Cronulla & Bundeena & ties up to the wharf in the background.

13.01.2022 Beautiful setting at Somerton NSW for Julia's & Thomas's wedding last Saturday. This wedding was such a reminder about our connections with people & for me, some reconnections. Wonderful!

13.01.2022 Im very excited to be marrying Jules & Ben this afternoon at this stunning location in the Blue Mountains.

11.01.2022 It would be hard to beat a sparkling winter's day in a gem of a place like Bundeena when Dave & Pamela had their wonderful wedding ceremony last weekend. I was delighted to be part of their special story.

10.01.2022 Darook Park, Cronulla- a great spot for the ceremony I did last Sunday. More photos of the wedding to come later.

09.01.2022 Such a beautiful setting for Kelly's & Mark's wedding at Wanda Surf Life Saving Club, Cronulla, a couple of weeks ago. Kelly & Mark, it was such a pleasure to be able to work with you both.

09.01.2022 Looking for somewhere different for your honeymoon destination? Take a look at Sri Lanka! Spectacular scenery, fabulous resorts, amazing wildlife, extraordinary history & culture & the best food you could imagine! A great mix of relaxation & adventure.

04.01.2022 THE PROS & CONS OF OUTDOOR CEREMONIES: Pros: Anywhere outdoors is very Australian; lovely ambience; can be as informal or formal as you like; great photo opportunities; Cons: A rainy day; too hot; too windy; too cold; the distance people have to walk to the ceremony site; some guests may need seats; a beach wedding may be uncomfortable for some guests; the tide is out (or in too far) for a beach wedding. Dealing with the Cons: ... *Always have a Plan B venue that is undercover; liaise with your Celebrant about when to change to Plan B *Check weather reports; if it's a beach wedding, check tide times well in advance *Consider providing a few chairs for guests (for the elderly or those with health problems) *Be prepared to be flexible with the area you have chosen - an area 20 metres away might be more sheltered than on the edge of a cliff. You can still have those dramatic cliff edge photos after the ceremony. *Ask your Celebrant about whether 1. they have a sound system 2. the sound system will provide good sound coverage for all guests

03.01.2022 And here are the ceremony photos! Joyous!
